i'm playing sc2 through umobile
not really sure on how to check the latency but it's still acceptable for unless u into competitive playing
as for the bandwidth usage, it's low, so don't worry about it

I dont recommend playing on wireless, though, as the ping could be much higher than wired.

thanks for the info and advice sifu's. smile.gif

i think i'll play it through maxis wireless broadband.. tongue.gif since most of the time will be around klang valley area.. smile.gif

Kyl3 - that's a relieve if bandwidth usage is low.. - not very competitive gaming tongue.gif
cheesenium - yup i heard about this too.. thanks.. hopefully the difference is minimal
mikex - where is your location when u played through celcom wireless broadband..

yup. me playing on maxis bb. SC dont really uses a lot of data. if you are ol skool, you must know how ppl play chess by morse codes in the old days.

SC dont really transmits most of the graphics since they're all in your hd. so when you play, it only transmits the coordinates and action codes that will move the characters in your screen. most of the time anyway. but it does uses a lot of pings. the more you play, the more data it uses.

wah.. !! i didn't know ppl play chess that way.. that's something new to me..

.. if it's ok, may i ask which maxis package ur on?..

how's the connection?
