If you want to enjoy 3D on your normal TV, you'll need to movie and the glasses of course. I seem to recall a website that has info on all the 3D movies and type of glasses used.

For those glasses, you can DIY or just buy one:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1262759

Anyway, you can get all the info from the link above.

But its best not to spend a lot on it first, some ppl have a big headache during watching 3D movies on the TV..no kidding

Regarding the latest 3D LED TV's whatever..thats a different type of 3D...lets say a step up version from the normal Red-Blue, Magenta-Green anaglyph 3D

Red bule using normal color combination to 'fool' yr brain.
Tech now using 'shutter' glasses, left and right will 'shutter' at diffent time. meaning on off, off on.

I think you should know nowadays there are mainly 2 types of 3D..

One is the use of Blue/Red / or Cyan magenta glass...another one is the latest 3D using battery operated glass.

anaglyphic 3D will bring me a headache.
But active glasses don't give headache effect at all. This new technology is great.

It would be great if there were more 3D titles available.

No use dumping so much of $$$ for a television that supports 3D when all the good titles are exclusive for 12 months or more to Samsung/Panasonic.

Anaglyph 3D is in the past. Forget about it.

For me, PQ 3D TV is more stunning than watch in cinema. Cinema just using polarize passive glasses. It old technology
