done this, i able to clear off their entire base in normal =P, basically this map got a catch, they give you new tech goliath, if you keep building them, will make your mission very difficult, especially in hard, cause your goliath is no way able to do as much damage as their void ray and void ray can shoot further(u dont have the tech upgrade yet, +3/+1range). So you will face heavy loses and alot of resource just making goliath, my suggestion would be ignore goliath, just mass produce marines and heavy marines plus some medic, upgrade weapon/armor as usual, 1 void ray cant kill a single marine if your medic doing their job correctly(i think i had the medic upgrade which makes them more effective at healing and also marine+10hp).

you dont have to rush in this mission, need not to capture any terrazzine mine at beginning, just focus on defending all mine, and destroy their center base. push them all back to their main base, make 2nd army, guard both of their main base exit, keep some distance, they will keep replacing guards if u kill them, so its no ending killing. some probes will try to sneak pass your defense when you fighting with its escorts, so either manually kill them off b4 they run too far, or just put 1 marine at each mine. then its harvest time, send out scv to mine terrazine, you dont need to guard your scv, just make sure nothing get pass your defense.

no need to kill all turrets, i got that achievement and i'm pretty sure i left one turret alive at the 1st map.

@narf thanks, finally able to get it. didn't totally ignore goliaths, but massed marauder/medic/marine this time. marauder/medic lasts damn long, previous tries i was goliath only and those die like flies to voids & stalkers.

@fries hehe the helions worked! those far-far away ones i just sent 4 helions to suicide on the probe. the most annoying part is that when the 'toss have a mass of units around, it's hard to right click on the small probe ...

i could finish the 3 on the left but the 4th on on the right is damn tough.

biggrin.gif with this, i just finished off it easily.

Got benefits at higher ground, only 1 entrance and they cant attack until they see you. so defending wise will be alot easier, mass produce marines and supply depots, you should know that by pressing the shift key u can order scv to queue building, set hot keys(ie ctrl-9) on all barracks, always remember to watch your unit count and keep supply depots up. use hot keys to train marines. also upgrades for marines are very important, even its only level 1.

after rescue 2nd batch of soldiers, you should have enough fire power to start attack them, start with top left base, keep making marines with hot key, dont spend too much time on your base, micro management is very important. when only front few marines capable to shooting at target and blocked others, move them all in front b4 start shooting, might lose some marines but save you alot of time.

Do not think you have 20 mins, the last few mins cant count cause there are plenty of zerg ejecting out, if you just want to achieve 4 hatcheries, just do top left and the left 1, top right 1 is much harder, 2 hatcheries each side.
what i did was i didn't bother rescuing the other 2 stranded marines.

i just build up. 4 bunkers on each entrance. spam 4 barracks. if possible, get them to do simultaneous production.

spam kau kau.

at around 5 - 7 minutes timer left, you should have sufficient marines and a few medics to bring along.

the key point is the attack. charge into the base, then run out immediately. this will draw the forces out, keeping you away from those pesky tentacles. then go back in, finish tentacles one at a time.

keep in mind to use HOLD button when possible, to avoid straying units.

Aces high is VERY VERY difficult, i did it with hours of restarting/saving/loading, so im not qualify to give any tips.

Blaze of Glory in normal is easy, i killed ~3k, at beginning, add more harvesters, you need alot more cash, gas will be ok, move your observers at each entrance a bit closer, so they dont get killed so fast =P, upgrade your ground weapon for land units is the highest priority, follow by air weapon, armor/shield only when u have plenty cash around. Add 1 or 2 more robotic bays, you will be needing alot of immortals and some colossus, do not waste money on melee units, inclusive of invisible units, they will die very fast in middle game.

Group your army, do not split them into smaller group, you will need all of them, exclude those phoenix, phoenix in different group, they cant attack ground units, use them mainly on brood lords. Build cannons on cliff, not at lower ground of the entrance, maybe make some pylons at the cliff entrance, to slow them down on destroying cannons.

Move your force to which ever entrance they attack, do not make too much building at the center, you need to move fast between entrance, your colossus will be extreme good against ground unit zerg, and your immortal will be good against larger ground units, and immortal shield is very good at taking damage from those hybrids. When you cleared whichever entrance, move your force back to center. So it will be very easy to reach any entrance and defend. Keep an eye on brood lords, they can destroy all your cannons if you do not pay attention. your phoenix's main and only job, they only comes from north and east, learn when they will come, and kill them off ASAP.

Soon some carriers and void ray will join you, combine with your large force, keep building immortal, save your game now, start making cannons in your main base mainly for nydus worms, your cannons SUPPOSE to kill the worm b4 it start unloading units, killing these units from the worms doesnt count into your total kills, so no point killing them, so kill the worm quick. You can load game and reposition your cannon, those worms suppose to die ASAP, moving your main fleet into your base isnt a good idea, you can lose all cannons on the cliff.

Later in the game more units will join you, inclusive a mothership. its good to move the mothership and keep some of your cannon cloaked. The mother ship cant do much damage anyway, you can use its skill vertex. keep making cannons on cliff, try not to block your probe with cannons, there will be fliers rushing in while your main fleet cant deal with them(maybe your carriers can, but try let cannons handle them). By this time you should already meet the requirement of 2250 kills, just leave your pc on and walk away when you feel there is no hope, they will keep coming, you cant finish them all. Good luck.

@ray just to add on for the 750 kills, what you do is that use your phoenixes to graviton beam the hybrids when they come in mass. this lets your colossus/etc pick off the weaker units first before engaging the hybrids.

and then once you finish off the protect that building for 20 minutes (or whatever) objective, you can pull back to the higher ground which is much easier to defend.

no idea, but usually you need to have 2 gateways, 1 gateway up, start creating 1 zealot, then make another gateway, then can do 2 zealots at the same time. use easy for mission like that. if you unable to achieve, make sure you read the graph, its important to know what you had at what time, and you can save the mission as replay, then watch and clock your time, then try again.

What I did is mass battlecruiser....then have a few banshee standing by (w/ cloaking ability) to take out those probe tongue.gif

@PJ that mission where got battlecruiser or banshee? we talking about Welcome to the Jungle leh. You can postpone it that long to do it after the end of the tychus/artifact mission arcs? o_o
