guys, i heard this phone casing is so fragile. err, im torn between x6 and c6. which one to buy for my gf. she did mention that she like c6 but her first choice was x6. now we both dunno which one to choose. i need positive and negative side about this phone so that it will be as clear as the glass.
what i need to know are: 1-touch responsiveness 2-apps availability 3- virtual numerical keypad responsiveness 4-battery life 5-loudspeaker quality/loudness 6-design/exterior 7-theme design (beautiful or not-the downloaded one) |

First and foremost, the X6 is a XpressMusic-phone whilst the C6 is a business-centered phone. To answer your questions: 1. X6 is more responsive to human touch because it's a "capacitive touchscreen" while the C6 is a "resistive touchscreen" (which may require a stylus to operate). Therefore, X6 wins in "touch responsiveness". 2. Both these phones are Symbian S60 5th Edition. Hence, it's a draw because apps will work for either phones (same OS) which are available at Ovi Store. 3. Regarding the virtual keyboards' responsiveness, the X6 wins (please refer to answer 1.) 4. X6 has a 1320MaH battery while the C6 has a 1200MaH. According to the specifications at Nokia Malaysia, the X6 wins in terms of talk time/standby time/video call time/video recording time/video playback time/audio playback time. Therefore, the X6 wins hands-down. 5. Like I said, the X6 is a XpressMusic phone and the speaker lives up to it's name in terms of quality/loudness. 6. The design is up to the users' opinion. So I can't say much but if it comes to practicality/durability, IMHO I'd go for the X6 (candybar/normal) because there's less moving/mechanical/sliding parts when compared with the C6. This comes down to user preference. 7. Regarding themes, I can't say much but users can download themes and use it on either phones because they're of the same resolution (640 x 360 (nHD) and are both the same OS (S60 5th Edition). I hope this clears most of your doubts. |

QUOTE(mrfarhatadib89 @ Aug 23 2010, 12:28 AM) last time i wish to swap my X6 with E72 too. but now i not willing to do so. i love my X6. QUOTE(Username is username @ Aug 23 2010, 12:44 AM) guys, i heard this phone casing is so fragile. err, im torn between x6 and c6. which one to buy for my gf. she did mention that she like c6 but her first choice was x6. now we both dunno which one to choose. i need positive and negative side about this phone so that it will be as clear as the glass. erm..the casing is slighty fragile compare with others nokia model. My USB cover abit sengek and cant close well. But if u apply Capdase Softjacket, Epikcase or others casing protector, will hard as rock, not fragile problem at all. what i need to know are: 1-touch responsiveness 2-apps availability 3- virtual numerical keypad responsiveness 4-battery life 5-loudspeaker quality/loudness 6-design/exterior 7-theme design (beautiful or not-the downloaded one) Or, u can see the previous post by Codyx, how he drop his phone and still no problem at all. 1. X6 win in term of "touch responsiveness", due to X6 is capacitive screen while C6 is resistive screen. X6's touch screen very reponsive, can done it by a simply and lightly touch. While C6's touch screen is not responive compare with X6, sometimes u need to "press" it, instead of touch it. 2. Both same OS version. Should be no differences. 3. As i stated at 1. 4. As TechnoDude94 mentioned, X6 has a 1320MaH battery while the C6 has a 1200MaH. According to the specifications at Nokia Malaysia, the X6 wins in terms of talk time/standby time/video call time/video recording time/video playback time/audio playback time. Therefore, the X6 wins hands-down. 5. X6 is focus on music market while C6 is focus on business market, therefore very clear that X6 wins in term of loudspeaker quality/loudness. Additional, X6 has two loud speaker but C6 only has one. Beside, X6 loud speaker located at side. When put on the table, it would not block the sound and even create larger sound. But C6 loud speaker located at behind. When put on table, it will block the sound. 6. This is very subjective question. Depend on u and ur gf how to decide. Different ppl have different preferences. 7. Same as 6. Depend on u and ur GF how to decide. My point of view :i love my X6 than C6 in term of screen, outlook, speaker. But i like C6 QWERT keyboard. This just my oppinion, u can take it as references. Hope that will help u differentiate both phones. |

Hmm....well I try to answer it in a simple manner:what i need to know are: 1-touch responsiveness 2-apps availability 3- virtual numerical keypad responsiveness 4-battery life 5-loudspeaker quality/loudness 6-design/exterior 7-theme design (beautiful or not-the downloaded one) 1- X6> C6, mainly because of the type of touchscreen used. X6 use capacitive whilst C6 uses resistive screen. Its a matter of choice really, as personally, I slightly prefers resistive screen, mainly becoz I browse a lot on the phone and smtimes using capacitive screen to tap the microscopic links is hard 2- Apps? Just the same. 3- Again, X6> C6. But this mainly due to the fact of the screen. Seriously, if u cn remember to use fingernails for resistive screens, I'm sure that the screen will feel very responsive. 4- Hmmmmm...as said by others, X6 maybe surpasses C6 here. In real life? I dunno, haven't try using C6 extensively yet lulz. 5- Cant help here LOL....maybe see above responses? 6- Design? IMHO, I totally dig on the X6 design, but C6, although the design is quite plain, it is quite solid. Already have a hands on moments with it and gotta say that the sliding mechanism is good and solidly build. 7- Theme? Well just download it to your heart content Hope this helps |
