QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 3 2010, 06:09 PM) @ping0613: Yeap. I actually went to a few shops at Sungai Wang and they all gave around (RM1100~1180) that price too. I wanted to buy the Nokia 5800 for my Mum but realized it was resistive touchscreen but she prefers capacitive (easier and more precise to control). However, I realized it doesn't have "Multi-Touch" which is quite a let down compared to the iPhone/iPod Touch. but iphone very expensive compared with X6, and not worth to buy(for my oppion)QUOTE(sunriser @ Aug 3 2010, 07:53 PM) Ok, thx. use normal pc suit. or choose mass storage when connect to PCBtw, do most of you use the OVI PC Suite to synchronize your phone with PC? Anyone using a different software? |

QUOTE(sunriser @ Aug 3 2010, 09:20 PM) Erm, what is normal pc suite? means you don't use the one provided in the Nokia DVD? -normal pc suit = Nokia PC Suit =/= Ovi SuitFor mass storage, can it backup everything (sms, contacts etc)? Or just files like music and photos only? Added on August 3, 2010, 8:26 pm Erm, what is normal pc suite? means you don't use the one provided in the Nokia DVD? For mass storage, can it backup everything (sms, contacts etc)? Or just files like music and photos only? Just finished charging the 8hrs, now trying the X6. Hm, there's a slight problem here. Although I can connect to wi-fi, but I can't seem to login to anything (facebook n emails). Username and password is definitely correct though. Normal browsing is ok too -i din use the DVD in the box. i direct download from Nokia Website for latest version. -put as mass storage just like plug in a pendrive on PC. can copy sms, but need to find from system, which i still dunno which file for S60 5th ; can copy contact, but u need to copy ur contact to mass memory 1st. |

QUOTE(piumiu @ Aug 5 2010, 09:49 PM) I have an mind boggling predicament here. psychological effect perhaps? I have 2 X6, a 16GB Zitron set and a 32GB Avax set. 16GB is faster, smoother and the OVI GPS is different, faster, more details and also the GPS signal is better on the 16GB. Both also have been upgraded to latest OVI Maps and firmware. Can someone shed some lights into this? |

if just compare 1st time load, then larger memory used sure will be slower.
but it been loaded second time and above, should be same speed(based on my oppion) edit: should be same speed among 8GB,16GB, and 32GB This post has been edited by ping0613: Aug 5 2010, 10:41 PM |

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 5 2010, 11:32 PM) @mrfarhatadib89: I'm not sure about the 8GB being the fastest of all. It's just a theory that it should be faster because there's less items to load. no. i meant same speed, is same speed compare among 8GB, 16GB,and 32GB. not compare between 1st time load or 2nd time load.@ping0613: I think that the program will load faster during the second time because it has been saved to RAM already during the first time it was loaded. That's if you don't fully quit the app. Just my guess/opinion. Btw, is it safe to use the Garmin XT Mobile with V21.00.04? I read that there's some WSOD (Whitescreen of Death) problems related to FW V21.00.04 with Garmin Mobile XT. sorry, din stated clearly and make u confuse. so far garmin work well at my X6, but mine is V20 This post has been edited by ping0613: Aug 5 2010, 10:40 PM |
