@Codyx: I think you wouldn't wanna "fragment" it (makes it worst, increases search/index times. I think you meant "de-fragment it"?

@Codyx: Thanks for the tip.
Btw, how come the Nokia WH-701 (included earphones in X6 16GB) doesn't work with Mac/iPod? It only works with the phone itself? I plugged the WH-701 into the X6 and it works perfectly. However, when I plug the WH-701 into my MacBook/iPod, the sound is muffled or cracks. Added on August 8, 2010, 8:46 pmI thought the earphone is a standard 3.5mm jack? QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 8 2010, 12:31 PM) @hongchai888: Actually, there are some people I know that find 32GB lacking. They fill their 32GB iPhones (not talking about X6) to the brim with music and apps. You know why Iphone 32GB not enough? If you can manage your files/folders properly, I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem locating your files. Cause good games like Asphalt 5 takes up about 100++ mb of memory Imagine yourself filling your Iphone with games Very easily used up lur...But Nokia apps are all very small sized...never exceed 10mb one The only way to fill your Nokia is to fill it with music and videos lur |

It's not just Mac stuff...my WH-500 cannot work on my computer because the 3.5mm connector made by Nokia is slightly modified for specific features such as controls and mic Buy your own headset lur...RM100+- can buy a decent Headset |

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 8 2010, 08:45 PM) @Codyx: Thanks for the tip. Like they said...the earphones got other features which modded the jack itself....certain plug-ins may work or they will only receive mono tone instead of joint-stereo(certain devices like laptop you need to put the WH-701 jack out a bit to listen clearer but might not be the best sound)...for me, I'll buy a better headphones and use for all-purposes Btw, how come the Nokia WH-701 (included earphones in X6 16GB) doesn't work with Mac/iPod? @hengguowei: Yeap, I agree that iOS Apps require a lot of memory space.
Thanks all (ping0613, hengguowei and Codyx) for your reply regarding using the WH-701 on the Mac. Btw ping0613, you must be very lucky because you can use your WH-500 on your PC whereas hengguowei can't use it on his PC. I am actually using the iPhone-supplied earphones with my MacBook. I just wanted to try the WH-701 (from Nokia) on my Mac. Honestly speaking, after comparing both earphones (one supplied with iPhone and WH-701 supplied with X6). The WH-701 has better sound quality when compared with the Apple earphones. However, the WH-701 is "in-ear" but the Apple earphones are not. |

Just now my Mum complained that the slider (to lock/unlock the X6) was slightly loose and also the back/battery cover is slightly loose (about half a mm of freeplay when you press the back/battery cover).
So, I thought of replacing the hardware slider's function with something like a "Slide To Unlock" from iPhone. I read about nUnlock but my question is, can I just use the nUnlock/Slide To Unlock to unlock the phone without using the slider (on the side of the X6)? My aim is to not use the slider at all. Thanks in advance, your reply is most appreciated. |

Thanks in advance, your reply is most appreciated. to be frank, i have abandon on-screen slider apps which because once in a while they will have "delays" which is not comfortable when you are in a hurry instead you'll use the side-slider(applied to whatever application which runs on memory)and you might get more often "memory low" warning and the phone might automatically shut the program down...normally when you running full-mode web page with lots of elements...for me, i applied a tiny paste(not too sticky and visible) on the intersection of the side-slider for it to slider smoother and friction-free(that's save some life-span as well) Made Your Choice or wait for Symbian to release something like on the C6's screen-slider feature which i posted before-hands This post has been edited by Codyx: Aug 9 2010, 01:00 AM |
