QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 8 2010, 08:38 PM) @Codyx: I think you wouldn't wanna "fragment" it (makes it worst, increases search/index times. I think you meant "de-fragment it"? yup...wrong word to use...my bad my badyou need to restart the device after de-fragment it...DO NOT use instantly after completion otherwise the integrity of the mass storage Might corrupt This post has been edited by Codyx: Aug 8 2010, 08:40 PM |

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 8 2010, 08:45 PM) @Codyx: Thanks for the tip. Like they said...the earphones got other features which modded the jack itself....certain plug-ins may work or they will only receive mono tone instead of joint-stereo(certain devices like laptop you need to put the WH-701 jack out a bit to listen clearer but might not be the best sound)...for me, I'll buy a better headphones and use for all-purposes Btw, how come the Nokia WH-701 (included earphones in X6 16GB) doesn't work with Mac/iPod? It only works with the phone itself? I plugged the WH-701 into the X6 and it works perfectly. However, when I plug the WH-701 into my MacBook/iPod, the sound is muffled or cracks. Added on August 8, 2010, 8:46 pmI thought the earphone is a standard 3.5mm jack? This post has been edited by Codyx: Aug 8 2010, 10:27 PM |

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 9 2010, 12:35 AM) Just now my Mum complained that the slider (to lock/unlock the X6) was slightly loose and also the back/battery cover is slightly loose (about half a mm of freeplay when you press the back/battery cover). believe me...use "slideunlock" from opda....it has all the customization you need and theme you can get build-in or external source....and if you talk about memory consumption? it's all liddat....it is feature or speed you wantSo, I thought of replacing the hardware slider's function with something like a "Slide To Unlock" from iPhone. I read about nUnlock but my question is, can I just use the nUnlock/Slide To Unlock to unlock the phone without using the slider (on the side of the X6)? My aim is to not use the slider at all. Thanks in advance, your reply is most appreciated. to be frank, i have abandon on-screen slider apps which because once in a while they will have "delays" which is not comfortable when you are in a hurry instead you'll use the side-slider(applied to whatever application which runs on memory)and you might get more often "memory low" warning and the phone might automatically shut the program down...normally when you running full-mode web page with lots of elements...for me, i applied a tiny paste(not too sticky and visible) on the intersection of the side-slider for it to slider smoother and friction-free(that's save some life-span as well) Made Your Choice or wait for Symbian to release something like on the C6's screen-slider feature which i posted before-hands This post has been edited by Codyx: Aug 9 2010, 01:00 AM |

QUOTE(hongchai888 @ Aug 9 2010, 08:38 AM) Did you feel frequent hang on ur Slideunlock? Mine face this problem always, now has change to Finger Print Fingerprint?? i tot that was a lame trick? QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Aug 9 2010, 12:00 PM) @ping0613 and Codyx: I'll be getting the nUnlock. It has a pretty nice iPhone-alike "Slide To Unlock" screen. I'm using the *ahem* version. Need to do some "certificate signing" first. Slideunlock also got...i think even nicer...you might want to google some theme to view yourself |

QUOTE(avi24nash @ Aug 11 2010, 05:39 PM) Hello all X6 users. I just now installed PJP 8 V20 for my new X6 8gb. after restarting the mobile, i find that i can no more go to landscape mode, i just see all my applications in Potrait mode. can anyone help plz? You probably need to uninstall any Mod you applied on your phone before applying PJP....since PJP will overwrite some system files including your landscape MOD....perhaps you just need to re-MOD it... |

if you guys think opera mobile is slow just go to settings and switch to "mobile mode" then it will be fast like mini's...otherwise loading a full version website is 10 times more resource eating than mobile version...scripting will kill your memory fast

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Aug 16 2010, 09:22 AM) AP set & Ori set both SAME things in terms of phone quality built(from same factory) only difference in firmware(maybe due to regional code)...easy as abc...those with AP here will need to flash their phone manually to asia pacific/malaysia firmware or they have difficulties in updating after that, AP = ORI |

yes....that's why you have to make your precise choice and survey yourself on respective dealer(AP Company)....i am not advertising any specific name or criticizing so what i know is there's some which is much better in terms in service and replacement than NCC itself....
