yeah.. If the themes r on mass memory it goes back to basic

From my personal experience since ages back while using S60v3, I think themes should be installed in C drive to prevent lagging biggrin.gif

Even though you install third party themes on C drive also not as smooth smile.gif I tried already...the default theme is like a booster to the phone biggrin.gif

Go google opda then go to their website then register then apply for a developer cert for your imei (press *#06#) then use the the freesigner or signsis to sign the sis installer file biggrin.gif

Probably because X6 isn't as cheap as 5800...that's why people feel more scared to spoil their phone if anything goes wrong after mod biggrin.gif

@Jason3399: Urm, I doubt it's got anything to do with "bricking" the phone if it's just "Theme-based mods". Unless you install a "custom firmware" then you better know what you're getting yourself into.

@hengguowei & ping0613: Can't really agree with you about the fact that pricing/date of release plays a factor in modding your phone. Look at the amount of iPhone/iPod Touch-users that mod their devices by jailbreaking/unlocking and risking to void their warranty also when the device is so expensive and just launched.
@Gundam Masta: So far there's no hardware based problems that we (users from the forum) have encountered. It should be fine.
*
Urm...you do realise iphone and itouch devices share a single platform qhich in any one case if got problem you have lots of modders out there that can give you support and iphone or ipod touch after jailbreaking got so much potential for their games and apps...after modding symbian...ehat can you get?...only abit of enhancement for your phone?...that's all...so what's the point??? icon_rolleyes.gif

the point is whether do u  utlize it or not. If not like you said what's the point?
Why nokia created Nokia N900 its because u can freely mod what the hell you want? U can access all the phone system and memory just by using command. U can just change anything you want like fonts, logo , menu just copy and paste files even change the lock screen.
*
That's only customization...but if you jailbreak iphone, yiu will get something alot more fruitful...don't you think so? biggrin.gif

sometimes you cannot judge the photo quality result on the phone screen itself...you had to extract to PC and see yourself

I don't know but I think X6 does pretty well if there's enough light smile.gif
But if not enough light, only near images are still alright...far=no image ==lll

haha yeap but it helps alot in future. not all but selected

For everyone info cert have a expiry date. After certain time u need to request new cert to sign again
*
very long...probably a couple of years...saw it written somewhere...but did not border about it cause I know by the time the cert expire, I will most probably not be needing it anymore cause the phone I'm using now will be antique biggrin.gif

Btw, I doubt I'll be posting as frequently as before because I just got a new toy and would be spending more time tinkering with it. icon_rolleyes.gif
Bye Symbian S60 5th Edition, hello iOS 3.2.2.
