when market is gd and glossy ....we regard black dark as cool and classy
when bad bad market like this.....we see black dark as gloomy sad and hopeless
cos human see same thing differently due to mood and feeling

Empire city outlook is different from all the malls / commercial development. Got Euro feel 

Icon City outlook is quite futuristic, but tenants wise, Empire city has got some new brands / theme where normal mega malls don't have them. Unless Icon City can bring in new big famous tenants where other malls also don't have, or create a theme where other malls don't have too. Successful malls attract big crowd with 2 major things - F&B and Cinema. Die or not, it depends on this Gourmet Street.

The 1st phase just F&B and some shop lot only...
Crowded maybe just from those iSovo and MSC tower office only..

The F&B there any special place that can attract crowd will be some plus point..

But frankly speaking, not really think it can go so far with 1st phase development..

2nd phase how they going to develop will decide the fate of this project..

too bad very limited annocement on phase 2 and they seem delaying.

phase 1 purchasers need to hold for few more years and 'hope' phase 2 bring good value to the place.

Good news to Tower 1 owner then.. But surprise Tower 3 n 3A not yet receive VP letter.. They were launched earlier than Tower1..
Tower 2 still long way to go..most probably early next year.

Any owner of Tower3 Iconcity I-Sovo?I am an owner and was told LAD only starts from Aug 2016.So frustrated as Mah Sing started the building within the 18 months of period approval but now they start calculate the 42 months only after the 18months period approval,meaning they took a total 60 months..any whatsapp group which we can discuss on how to deal with such disadvantage SPA on definition of 'date of period approval'.

Found out about this last year when I questioned them. Anyway, after checking the SPA all the clause was stated just that we did not pay attention on it. Have you collected you key, I'm still waiting for them to confirm my appointment.

Ya! look at One South at Sg Besi, similar concept and next to high traffic highway and high visibility, but no tenants so far. Because the developer sold all the shop lots instead of keeping them, personally maintain them and lease them out. So this icon city will be the same, no tenants.

developers can help finding potential tenants for the retails lots.......

beside.....most key located retails and opis blocks probably were sapued by directors and associates and buddies anywhere.....
