Exactly. Can we complaint. As i learned only 1 tower which is the creative tower supposed to be dark grey. The rest are bright. Would be nice if the make it bright plus dark grey to contrast but not all dark.

Mah Sing gearing is low and that's why they not interested in retain the ownership of mall operations.
As for as those retail nshop can sell, why they need to retain and carry the baby...?
Better use the money for future development and land acquisition..

actually that area might be the best/worst place to have a mall.

there isn't any modern malls along fed hiway.
sunway pyramid and paradigm are nearby but not along fed hiway.
the old cold storage now courts & giant near hilton is past it's glory days.
across the road after armada was built over the old mall it has never recovered.
amcorp is along fed hiway but it is rather dead, road access and parking is crazy.
i remember when i was a kid there wasn't much malls/complexes unless go all the way to kl.
usually only go here or pj new town for the cinema.
so if they do build a mall like klcc/paradigm which adds lotsa access roads and parking it could do well.

but as far as hotels go there really isn't much attraction/purpose for that area to have a hotel.
especially since there is a huge one that has almost entirely eclipsed armada which should be opening soon.
for holiday goers they'd probably prefer sunway resort or pyramid tower due to the themepark.

mid valley is still the place to go for proper shopping...almost everything is under one roof....

but carparking is a headache....

yes, oversupply and weakening demand. my client has an outlet on ground floor at Midvalley Garden. tenancy expiring soon and managed to get a reduction in the rental.

Secret is on a serious decline in biznes.. Oldtown is slowing down too but more reasonable option compared to secret. Secret has very low franchise fees n startup costs.

Stayed at one of the Airbnb in Iconcity few weeks back. Woah the commercial is super dead weh. Better just be full residential rather than a 'dead city'.

If MS develop iconcity2 as a shopping mall, I think it'll be dead as well.
