They probably have to offer more than 1 yr free rental seeing how bad is the situation. 1 yr free rental is getting more and more common for quite a number of not-so-ong places and some of them in so called good locations.

they will move to build more new 'flagship cities' and abandon this 1. actually no sign of phase 2 yet right? phase 1 aso cant sell how to launch phase 2.

Icon City residence n sovo is running. Tower 1 about 20% occupancy as at now.. just the promise for commercial site not sure when can realize..
The fascade no doubt is ugly from far.. but if u r stay in it, i can say it look nice from inside

I remember during early 2000 Mid Valey look death. But now it is so happening.

I am not saying Icon will fly. A lot more to do with Malaysia Macro as well.

Now all eyes go to Tun Razak Exchnage and Bandar Malaysia.

Bro, 1 year free rental is good. But many retailers not necessary attracted to this as they still need to put RMXXX,XXX for renovation and got operating costs which must be covered by at least some daily sales. Right now it is quiet as not much footfall.

yes, oversupply and weakening demand. my client has an outlet on ground floor at Midvalley Garden. tenancy expiring soon and managed to get a reduction in the rental.

but not much also lah... about 7%. after the reduction it's RM33 psf which is still high compared to other malls.
