Few years back tropicana suite sell at 200k++ ppl also say crazy because can getba decent size cond at ss2 area oledy, but now the tropicana suite orice double up at 400k oledy....not mean that the icon city suite is sure making money, but there is possibility there, provided the commercial is succesful at icon city....who knows become another landmark project at PJ? Just like mid valley...who knows...

Klcc too expensive for local, and too congested and too hard to find local nice food, PJ and subang jaya still the top choice for local living especially chinese, look at ss2 condo, oledy transc at more than half million for 1000++ sqf unit, demand is strong

Mah sing not really good in commercial development..look at their southgate then know...

doubt this icon city can become next mid valley...can on par with Tropicana city mall consider good oledy..

Too many are driven by MS bad image and pre-judging on this project as a commercial failure from the beginning. The problem is mah sing oledy sell the jewel shoplots to differents ppl and the shoplots might turn up become soemthing like cybercafe, mamak, massage center.....


If mah sing really have a will to make it a succesful commercial, mah sing should just rent to the good tenants to do business at there....

this part of cheras is transportation ub, interchange between LRT and MRT...got ikea, jusco just stone away..


since u mention high paid job opportunities are at KL and PJ...then this part of cheras is very close to KL, and the future tun Razak exchange...so expect can really attract some expat to stay here..

tell me icon city got what confirm anchor tenant oledy?

Sunway will control the tenant for the commercial shoplots and i for sure sunway able to bring in the famous store like jaya grocery, village grocery, parkson...

not to mention,..sunway velocity is freehold, icon is leasehold, if i not mistaken...

Agree wit u, that my point, i am not saying pj is lousier than cehras, just porjetc to project comparison....

I think sunway velocity got more wow factor compare to this icon city....

Ikea, TRX, MRT and LRT, sure these are factors that can bring crowds expecially for commercial...

What the shopping mall plan for icon city by mah sing? Last i heard they try bring in thailand most famous shopping retailer but end out no....now what the plan?

Look at mah sing southgate project in front of their main office building, truely a failure....

This icon city looks so quiet, dun heard any news who will become the tenants, empire city easily win it, looks like mah sing still very bad in managing commercial mall..

Looking at mahsing past performence on commercial, dun think they able to make it this time, maybe can't even up to paradigm mall standard....this location actually is good, highly visible, if the developer is sp setia, sunrise, Tropicana, or sunway, sure very succesful mall...

I thinm after that, Mah sing will just sell all the shoplots including the mall, maybe there is no mall after that, change it to single shoplots and sell all of them, after complete, then wash hand then proceed on other project then continue come out wonderful plan to fish buyers
