Classic Malay name: Inderawan, Arjuna, Aduka, Kencana, Awira, Bujang, Andika, Melur, Molek, Kenanga, Maya, Seri, etc
Arab name: Hafiz, Azlan, Amir, Khalid, Ali, Rahman, Siti, Aisyah, Sharifah, Fatimah etc

this isn't about malay. this thread is about chinese. please discuss chinese names.

i have a question, why chinese like to put fruits as their first name? like Grape Liew, Strawberry Kong, Mango Lee, etc???

Some of them are not even christian. Then why aren't they choose Japanese names, Brazilian names, or Jew names?

Who said english names are easy to pronounced? I bet most ah so and aunties don't even know how to properly pronounce name like 'Gillian' or 'Leonard'. later must got pelat2 chin chong punya.

i'd lol if malay starting to put fruits as their name as well. imagine Karim Cempedak, Abdullah Manggis or Siti Pisang.
