Everything affected, online game.. 2-3 days ago. Either a whale f*** another cable or tmnut being arseholes.

guys if u torrent mkv and avi files tm wont be able to filter out
because what u are actually transferring through torrent are the files broken into little pieces.

but if u direct download obviously tm will know through the extension of the file.

if this how they want to encounter illegal download then this is the stupidest thing they ever done. think of who want to transfer/send homemade video to their friends or relatives. 2gb video for 24h download? that's suk

http file download is also break into several file.. like using 8 connection break into 8 parts.. then oni join again.. now it TM throttle video file

have any1 here try vpn and see it still block or not?

BATU PAHAT: The Information, Communication and Culture Ministry has welcomed former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad views on the need to filter pornography on the Internet, said its minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

"I greatly welcome Tun's views because we appear to be alone in voicing out against this negative influence. If more leaders voice out against pornography, the easier it will be for us to tackle this issue.

"There are certain quarters who have doubts about legal provisions to tackle the menace.

"Actually, we have Section 265 of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Comission Act to handle this," he told reporters after attending a memorial organised by the National Archives for the late Tun Hussein Onn (Malaysia's third prime minster) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) here Sunday.

The media recently reported Dr Mahathir saying he was becoming increasingly worried about the spread of smut on the Internet and felt it should be filtered as it was contributing to the increase in sexual crimes in the country.

Dr Rais said it was still too early to come up with a mechanism to block pornography on the Internet, but nevertheless, discussions in an objective manner would be carried to tackle the problem so that it was not misinterpreted as censoring the Internet.

He said if the source of pornography was from within the country, the authorities could act but at the moment, could do very little to prevent its spread if the source was from overseas.

"The is a need for an internal mechanism to check the spread of pornography on the Internet. At the same time, parents too need to do their part to protect children from this scourge," he added. - Bernama

Not sure on this i just notice ftp throttling and they are fixing it will test on my 1 Mbps username and another 4 Mbps username

post your speed screenshot and your ip range.. i 4mb also

I just notice this evening... LOL im downloading Mkv file.. speed only around 50max and lowest 15.. and its not stable.. i tot its because of the ip.. reset connection... speedtest (OK) then redownload.. speed jump to 150 then sudden drop to 30kb... LOL... i confirm with vapeace.. he said test rar.. rename the file into other type.. speed bump to max 230. LOL.. TM so stupid.. WTH are they thinking... i think the trotle is being done using recognizing the file extension. without it speed is max. the contents of the file is not check. for torrent they maybe just update new software... so its block the seed. anyway... for mkv untrotle.. where (the server) did you try download? pls state. coz they can impose this rule on certain hoster IP. so it would help vapeace

Why you guys that all using streamyx cant open so many sites ar? when i did the torrent tutorial in that video i put some tiny links and so many of you guys complain cant open or page load error... before i got my unifi i was using streamyx 4mbps and 1mbps@klang(old house) i can open any site all fine and download every thing @ max i can even download with 1mbps package at 230kbps with rapidshare, megauplaod, hotfile and torrents but my 4mbps was abit laggy due to network traffic overload at my area...


Maybe you guys using some slow dns server and your area gateway server got problem...

errr... TM cannot trotle unifi.. coz it sole pupose is for media entertaiment... the hypoiptv wont work well it they trotle... and its like trying to kill the service itself if the trotle is imposed on the unifi.. maybe they trotle us (normal package) to push more people into unifi... XD who knows? TMnut..

opendns server... it just started few days ago

iptv wont work if they throttle avi or mkv or mp4 files
