Have u guys ever thought that it was all u guys bting n ppsing that is jamming up ur speed. Other possibilities is other ISP throttling TM IP connection or seedings r just seeding a of files?

Hey certain areas huge groups BTs while other areas there r not many or do it at different times. Either case there is no blocking mkv or avi files.

I don't think this throttling practise affecting torrent as well. Tried to download a few avi files using utorrent and I can get full speed from it but when tried from ddl the speed was crappy. Tested from tracker Box.net & iptorrent.

Didn't have a prob with DDL too... last night I was ddling from sharingmatrix, deposit file and hotfile. Only deposit file had a prob, i think the file was stored on a server with a bad connection to me, around 5k/s but the others were 190k/b n 70k/b while utorrent was still running.

Torrent is throttled. Few of my friends here are having the same problem/symptoms. It's not just limited to avi/mkv, ALL (rar/zip w/e) are affected, my torrents are dead.

DDL still works fine for me though.

implement first at the exchanges with highest p2p/pps/etc traffic aka highest returns to tm

DDL of .rar , .zip , .001 or whatever are just okay , its just that if the filename contains .mkv.001 , then yes , or .mkv.part1 , if its inside a rar then there is no way it can see it.

They are experimenting as well , oh yeah I can say this that they are monitoring twitter and umm this thread as well.

does this kind of method practised elsewhere..? I know traffic shaping has been done by many ISP before, hence the bad isp list on wiki.vuze.com/w/Bad_ISPs
