im not particularly in favor entirely to nadeko though, its sorta equal between snail and snake, then slightly liking crab/cat more XD

Had a talk with my friend last night about the anime. The strength of this anime is really the chemistary between the seiyuu, especially Kamiya Hiroshi and Chiwa Saito. Granted, the anime has it's appeal, but without those two, it would have been a different anime altogether.
Yui Horie was acceptable, but nothing to shout about, and all the other cast was average at best. Hiroshi's interaction with them really personifies what Shinbo wanted to showcase, and basically what people really watches Bakemonogatari for is Araragi.
the fact that we started the anime with Araragi and Hitagi is what really pulls more people in to watch for more. It can't be denied, some of the best and memorable scene in the anime is the one that involves both of them.

I have to say the main drawing factor for me was obviously Hitagi, but also Chiwa Saito at the same time. After watching her performance in Aria, her voice for Hitagi really caught me by surprise!

If any other anime had ended its terrestrial broadcast with that yak yak yak of an episode, it'd have been lambasted. But bakemonogatari's ending under the stars... wow, talk about awesome chemistry. You could feel the love between Ararararagi and Senjougahara.

True. But then again Araragi and Hitagi's relationship is more than normal love. She was abusive, manipulative, sarcastic, and yet he still likes her. And the reason WHY he liked her, and WHY she acted like that is what makes us want to watch it till the end. And it was a beautiful ending that wraps up the relationship quite nicely. It's a tease that was worth all 12 episode to be revealed
