@quaza ah i see. so i conclude that i (SEA version) can't play with my brother (EU version) for now, but "a few months down the road" it might be possible (according to blizzard).

@holyboyz as far as i know, cannot. Example if I have US version SC2 installed, when I try to login using my bnet acct with a SEA version SC2, it will say no SC2 game available.

Anyway, just a thought. It's possible to install and play on multiple machines so long as only one is logged in to bnet at a time. But for single player, you can choose to play offline instead of logging in to bnet. Therefore, theoretically speaking is it not possible to use my bnet login to 'activate' a friend/sister/brother/whoever's machine for single player, then that person can then happily campaign away in offline mode all he/she wants?

Haha. I too bought the European version. Didn't know at that time. Still haven't received my copy though.

Oh if any of you guys had the same problem as mine, that is purchasing a version that is not SEA region (Mine was European version) fret not. If you shoot an email explaining ur case to Blizzard tech support of ur relevant region, they will transfer your account to your prefered region. Mine is now SEA region.

U prob have to give some reason. I told them I stayed in Malaysia and the latency to Europe will be bad. Also most of my friends are here. So they said they can change. They just mention that if u change region, u lose all previous achievements and scores of the old one. Fine by me coz i haven't install the game yet. rclxm9.gif
Also depends on their official policy. But I think if u have a strong enough reason they will allow.
