I notice that I've flashed to the beta firmware 9.x.xl doesn't cost any hang issues currently.
However, do mind that I have disabled a lot of services, including Virtual Server, Wi-fi and also QoS. It seems to me the router hangs much more frequent if either of the services above is running. Maybe you guys should check over there. |

I have dumped my RTN13U as well.
Here is the thing I do: - I have used TP Link as my main Unifi Router - RTN13U use as wireless AP only Then I notice something -Wireless constantly died off even though TP Link unifi is still standing strong - Notice the firmware is the latest 2.0.2.5k or something (Asusmy sent to me) - Flashed back to older firmware which doesn't support Unifi (2.0.2.0 now) - Wireless running for a week without any issues at all, even stress, PPS, downloads Hope your team can build a better firmware for Unifi to solve others' issues |

QUOTE(prasys @ Oct 8 2012, 09:38 PM) I am 100% confirm that the firmware that supports Unifi is having issue, I have reverted back to the firmware that supports Streamyx and it hasn't hang or anything even 24/7 on.My setup has changed to this: TPlink then ASUS as wireless point. At first I am still using ASUS Unifi firmware as wireless point, but the wireless keeps disconnect and I have to reset the ASUS RTN13U and the wireless is back. It hangs for no reason, no connection or any streaming. Then I revert back to firmware from Asus site which only supports Streamyx, it works 24/7 now even with heavy wireless usage connection including PPS, Torrent, downloads. Hope it helps in your troubleshooting |
