QUOTE(aironiq @ Mar 18 2012, 09:54 AM) Noted and thanks bro, now IPTV is working...I have to restore back to default factory and do the setting manually again. But weird thing was the router unable to detect type of connection during the wizard setup even though the username and password is correct / selected the unifi-home profile. I have to skip the wizard and setup the WAN connection again in the admin page. Another weird thing is whenever I click Administration --> Firmware Upgrade ..a pop-up came out inform that there's a new firmware...hmm..I'm using the latest firmware now. just ignore it... Since we have the latest firmware...Anyway thanks again for the tip! Added on March 19, 2012, 1:36 pm QUOTE(lolikid @ Mar 19 2012, 12:50 PM) Which one is the suitable router for office use? So i flashed to 108 firmware...Flashed it to .78 firmware for the ASUSWRT UI. Should I just flash it to .108 firmware next? Added on March 19, 2012, 1:52 pm QUOTE(cyclone2 @ Mar 18 2012, 12:03 PM) Yes, I did. The file name is UT_RT_N16_4135.zip. Try to reformat ur hdd or delete the related file for asus dl master, then flash again with the 108 firmware... Remember to restore to factory default b4 u flash...Do I need to login to the UI and run the Upgrade? As in UI, I can see the version is 2.1.0.48... Previously I try to upgrade, I can see the version is 2.99 something.... but when I click the download master link in UI, it prompt page cannot display.... @phenomsys
Thank you. I'll just flash it to 108 then since it seems to be stable and has no issues. IPTV doesn't bother me as I'm on BIZ package. |

Guys, hope you help me here
Im using Unifi with Asus RT N56u as my router and RT N12 as my repeater (wirelessly). The problem is that if i connect to my n12 wirelessly, im unable to browse any website. I get time out when i ping any internet sites. But if i ping my router, no problem. If i connect to my router directly, i can ping any internet sites no problem also. The thing is when I use the latest firmware, it would work for a couple of days, then somwhow cannot after a few days and it will work if i connect via wire to my repeater, and eventually nothing works either wireless or wire. If i reflash the firmware also cannot. Then i downgrade the firmware and it will work for awhile and then fail again. It's kind of weird i think. Any idea if i can see if the N56 is blocking anything? I check that mac filter is disabled. So any idea what is going on? any suggestions? Anybody using Rtn56 and another wireless repeater successfuly before? Please help. Thank you Added on March 22, 2012, 1:57 pmOh ya, btw, i emailed asus support and they took a few days to get back to me. Really useless support. The gave me the standard guide to configure the wireless repeater which i have already configured. When i reply back again they never come back to me. How can i bring this issue to asus? Thanks This post has been edited by flowerhorn: Mar 22 2012, 01:57 PM |

You were facing the same issue as me? I tried a few different firmware. Did not keep track. Just every time I had the problem I would flash to a different one and the problem will be solved temporarily for a few days. I will try 1.0.1.7f and see how it goes. |
