Hi mikelanding, thank you for your feedback, may I ask have you updated the firmware to the latest already? Which is 3.0.0.4.246.

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLan...66U_3004246.zip

And does the Hand issue occur often?

Thank you.

Yes. Only N if you got N wifi built in. Unless you get the AC wifi adapter but I didnt see anyone selling yet or too expensive at this moment.
AC router had since drop price at least at US. RRP is USD199 and now start to dropped to USD179 and latest one I saw is USD149.

Hi mikelending, from my experience, every time I do a firmware update I will do a factory default to make sure that the new firmware are fully implemented.

And it seen that you have do a factory default on the RT-AC66U. Do let me know if the hang still occur.

Thank you

I dont think not all the time is needed to do factory reset. It is needed if you got major changes in firmware verson
.220 to .246 is consider minor upgrade right?

Hi mikelanding, you are right that not all time we need to do a factory reset when upgrading the firmware. But that is one of the way I am going to recommended you if you didn't do hardware reset if you are still having the hang issue on the router biggrin.gif. Although this is a minor upgrade, many thing can happen without us expecting it.

Thank you

Hi vickyrao, can I ask is the router has been updated to the latest firmware already based on the guide from "shadowblack"?

If still cannot, please follow the way on the youtube show below. Is rescue mode for ASUS router in case there is something wrong with the original firmware.

You can even refer to the instruction below from our website.

Hi KTCY, you can try RT-N16. If you require a better coverage, maybe you can go for RT-N66U or RT-AC66U.

Thank you

Hi All those user that used RT-N13U and have the Hang problem, can I ask do you notice that the wireless led light are off when the hang occurs? Or is there anything that is different before and after it hang on the router?

And this mostly occur when in Router, Repeater or AP mode?

Thank you
*
Mine is set to Router mode and there is no warning or specific sign of the failure. Once the failure kick in, all my blue LED just become static.

Any new progress on the firmware fix? Thanks.

If u dun need the gigabit port, RT-N12 C1 is possibly the more popular choice. IINM All IT Hypermarket is doing in house promotion for 3 days starting tomorrow for RM 99.

Is it available to all All IT or just the one in LYP?

Is this the best router because ever since I get unifi my parents everyone complain about their speeds in Wifi drop by a huge margin? So I wanna get the best out of my connection VIP5

U wan the best router, get RT-N56/66U instead. RT-N12 is just an alternative, provide you with better signal at low price and so far i have yet to see any complain for this model.

I believe it's available at all All IT branch including LYP.

RT-N15 is good, using better Broadcom chipset running faster clock speed and double the RAM. Come with gigabit port. Range wise, tested thoroughly using ixchariot, RT-N15 give slightly better throughput at further distance. But the pros doesn't really overweigh the price difference of almost RM 120.

I have a question.. I hope somebody can help me out...

I am using the dreaded TM DLINK router now to support my UnifiBiz 20 with 5 IP package for my company. Previously i was using N13U for as my router. But when I changed from single IP to 5 IP N13U cannot support the 5 IP.

Is this true? If its not true, where is the config for the 5 IP setup in N13U?
