Not True either, u need to maintain min rm 30  usage per mth to keep your account active.

if not, after 3 months, ur line will be barred, then supensed then terminated.
*
Yes. This sound like as described in Yes website. At minimum RM30 usage monthly which means a minimum of 1GB must be used monthly.

It is great for website surfing, social networking, watch videos online and other online activities but not for movie download or large file download because it's too expensive for those downloads.

I'll buy today.

I has used YES for a week for browsing websites. I think my getting 5 MB about for the speed. So far so good. But it is quite costly. Hope they come up some economical package then.

I reload RM90 2 weeks ago. I spend all credits just now.

I don't get any rebate. Why?
*
According to their policy, you'll get $23 rebate (for $90 usage) on your account after a month.

Well from Monday to now, I started to get slow loading on some sites like news sites, blogs and forum especially at night time. Not really happy anymore with YES but still better than TM Streamyx.

Hope the they wouldn't start giving problem later.

one thing, how do YES know we using it per month in order to get the rebate? i found out many ppl use for few days, the prepaid money straight deducted. in these case, they will deduct straight rm90, instead of rebate.
*
Your YES online account which can be logined in Yes.com.my will update and record your usage daily.

As far as I understand, you'll get the rebate after a month. So if this month used $90. Next month in your account will show $23 credit as rebate. Then when you use Internet in next month, they will deduct your rebate credit first until the rebate finished, they will deduct your top-up credit.

this YES is damn expensive as i only use normal internet browsing for no more than 5 hrs and the usage is at 376 MB when i check the data summary. how do we monitor our daily usage?  WTF

my account is only a few days old and already i think about quitting
*
Friend, the usage shows in data summary is accumulated usage amount lah. So lets say you have used YES three days with 100mb usage daily, then on the day fourth, you'll see 300 mb usage in your data summary. Your accumulated usage will keep adding up if you use everyday.

Today usage always update on next day. If you want to know how many mb you have used today, you need to wait till tomorrow. See how many mb has added up in your accumulated usage next day.

I surf a lot of websites daily. The cost can say to be reasonable. But when you watch video, play online game, then YES is really costly.

thumbup.gif I just receive this news from a very reliable 'reliable source'..............this...
thumbup.gif Just to update that the ZOOM (4G gateway), BUZZ (4G cloud mobile phone) and two VALUEPACKS (for data usage of 3.5GB and 10GB per month respectively) will be launched this Friday. We shall release the pricings and more details on that day.
rclxm9.gif and  how about this......How about getting a 4G mobile phone which can be used as a modem for internet connectivity and to make voice calls / send SMS – all for RM 30 per month under PAYU. Or alternatively for RM xx under the Valuepacks for 3.5GB usage per month with free nationwide all-net calls and SMS on top of that?  Interesting? More on Friday. rclxm9.gif
thumbup.gif So for those here using YES , this is indeed good news for those heavy users. rclxm9.gif
wub.gif Cheers to all.

Yes speed is getting no stable. I'm in Kajang. The speed test shows 7 mb but browsing International sites have been not so fast. Some sites actually have to wait. Even just now I use YES to search on Google, it is slower.

Sometimes it is smooth but sometimes it is not so fast.

I have using YES for about 4 months. The speed not really that fast overall. In the months I browsed hundreds of websites with YES and I also browsed hundreds of websites with Streamyx. Overall YES is a little better than Streamyx. No problem faced with YES but Streamyx seems to have some extreme slow problems weekly.

YES is expensive. You'll find some website pretty fast and some sites Streamyx is even faster.

Still new and should take some steps to improve their speed. It shows 7 mb speed but sometimes browsing some websites just slow.

Not really a top Internet service. Expensive but it is worth it if the speed can be maintained. But no, sometimes I experienced slow browsing as well. Don't put too high expectation on this YES or you will be annoyed by them.

Unable to visit any website now though connection successful. Hope they get their problem solved soon. Don't be another bad isp like Streamyx.

Continue to experience the same problem. I can connect to YES but can't visit any site. WTF man YTL yes, you aren't going to be another useless ISP.

Now I was using Streamyx to login my YES account, no problem visiting their site but can't login. Obviously they have problem right now. YTL doesn't mean quality.

The problem is that we live in Melaka and don't have UniFi or even Streamyx 4MB yet...Yes is the only thing above the lame Streamyx 1MB in our area.
*
YES was only slightly better than Streamyx. YES gives above 7mb speed but sometimes there are sites that were loading slow as well.

Like hotmail and Yahoo mail, streamyx is even faster. But when you are browsing more sites, you find YES is a little better.

YES charges expensive price but quality not really that excellent.

Yes is certainly is getting worst. I used to be able to connect smoothly for the past five months but these few weeks, I often have connection problem. My dongle works just OK.

YES may be proud on their fast speed service and charging high price.

But these days they are getting worse. Now every week in Kajang there is one day that you can't connect to YES.

I worked on Internet and browsed hundreds of sites. There are a number of sites that aren't fast at all. I did compare it with Streamyx, it's just slight better than Streamyx now and future may turn to be as worst as streamyx.

YTL so what?
