Slight hiccup with interconnect on certain blocks of numbers.
I received the following email this morning.
This is a good start.
At least they keep you posted of issues and changes rather than let you find out yourselves later.

My number is within the 332 block and I never receive such email noticing there's a problem with the said block. I guess not everyone was notified. unsure.gif

The rates for calls and SMS are fine but the internet charges is wayyy to insane. Higher than any other internet provider. Not a good move by YTL.

Oh my, at least take an effort to check things first before posting..

Anyway the real 4G standard endorsed by ITU are:
1) LTE Advanced (if it is just "LTE" without "Advanced", then it is pre-4G standard)
2) WIMAX2 or WirelessMAN Advanced (if it is just "WIMAX" without "2", "Advanced", then it is pre-4G standard)

LTE is missing some few requirement standard thus not qualifying for full 4G. Advanced LTE fixed those missing requirements.

Yes it does matter. One is by misleading people as people will think since it's 4G, it must be the successor of 3G hence can easily be used by mobile devices such as phones although that is not true. This '4G' claims is actually WiMax and only a few phones exists in this world that can use it. If it is the real 4G aka Advanced LTE, support will come naturally as new phones comes out (that is once it gets ratified). LTE also is much faster since it's the latest generation with peak download speed of at least 1Gb/s.
