I do think YES only transit towards international exchange and route back to local.

Not a good choice for gamers smile.gif

How does Yes Life works?
Do we need internet connection to make calls? how about if out of Yes coverage?

Example: travel to east malaysia which doesn't have any Yes coverage.

Yes Life works as long as it is connected to the internet. It doesn't necessary have to be using YES 4G connection to make calls. You can make calls as long as you're connected to internet.

Yes doesn't provide any simcard.
Let's say iPhone without a simcard, without internet, Yes Life doesn't work right?

eh, what did you not understand about Icehart's post? smile.gif

very simple. YesLife = VoIP app.

you don't need SIM card to use it. You just need INTERNET CONNECTION and enter your YES account details, and then it'll connect to the Internet and you can use it already.

VoIP = Internet required. No Internet, no jalan.

Actually the main question is how can i get the Internet Connection from YES 4G as i don't have any simcard?
If only i do have Internet Connection from YES 4G, i'm only able to make calls/sms etc.
I'm new to YTL technologies.

YES 4G are using like CDMA technology such as VERIZON in US...
our telco like celcom maxis digi are using GSM, which requires the sim card...
CDMA tech doesnt need a sim... it is a built in device... do google my dear..

hope this help you... feel free to ask..
regards..

you can't.

only 4 devices supports the Yes 4G connection.

Yes Huddle (MiFi
Yes Zoom (WiFi Router, I'm using this one)
Yes Buzz (Phone)
Yes Go (USB)

this is unlike Celcom 3G or Maxis 3G where it can be tied to your number / SIM.

iPhone VERIZON version do support CDMA right?
Possible to pair with Yes ?
