YES 4G speed is good but the price suck

Too expensive for just few GBs
*
If YES price suck, then all other telcos also suck.

As all telcos roughly at the same model package and identical quota.
Almost all telcos, whether 3G, 3.5G, all are charging roughly around Rm60, with 3GB quota.
Very similar to Rm68 valuepack of 3.5GB quota.

I can agree the price suck, but don't understand why single out YES when other telcos also charging roughly the same pricing.

Don't get me wrong, I also wish to see lower pricing, but single out YES somehow not that fair to YES when other also charging roughly the same pricing.

I got feel it the same before as I used to reload RM10 each time. Not anymore as I paid RM68 package.... Surfing without worried about the data usage... Peaceful... Free 150 minutes call and 150 sms... it does so useful and worth.
*
People feel expensive, because need to constantly reload when out of credit, and count daily RM usage they used, instead monthly bill like Rm60, pay in one shot.

For wireless bb, pricing is almost the same one, including Yes with Rm68.

Actually YES can be seen cheaper in comparative (although I knew it is not cheap across on wireless BB)
Some telcos charge Rm60 per month, and speed wise can range from 1mb to 3 mbps with 3GB quota.
Yes charged Rm68 for 3.5GB and speed can be more than 5 mbps easily. (at least from experience subscribe until now)

YES 4G is good

But too expensive , quota the most little in the country , unstable at highrise
*
Almost all wireless BB quota is around 3GB with pricing around RM60, how come say YES can be the most little?

From experience,
I used it at 20th floor, no problem of getting signal, speed range from 5-8mbps, signal 1-2 bar with dongle and 2-3 bar with zoom.
No unstable issue at least until now.

there is actually an auto reload which save rm5/mth ( for 2 mths i guess)

*
I am disappointed that auto-reload only entitle for rebate 2 months, should give forever.

Also, it is only applicable to cc, cannot auto-reload using YES credit inside.

it's 3 months to be exact. I totally agree that it should be forever.

As for Value Pack auto renewal, it's possible to use Yes credits that are already in your account. It's just that you need to set up your credit card details first. You should have the option to choose Yes credits in the auto renewal configuration. I've done it. wink.gif

The problem is I don't want to auto-reload using credit card, hence I don't want to key in the cc details.

So first step already cannot proceed.

One question, if we do not intend to use the ID already, do we need to inform them?

If not, they keep on charging the Rm30, and account become negative, and could they chase after this negative balance?
The staff at the YES store, say don't bother about the negative balance, but shouldn't they just suspend/close the account once it become negative?

Legally, they may have the right to chase after the negative balance.

you can write email to them using the email that you used to registered the ID.

I just went to cancel my secondary ID at lot10, got -ve balance also.
Just fill out a form and they photostated 1 copy for me after processing.

err... what is their email address, can't find at their website, only found the feedback section, which directly key in the comment and ID there only.

Wanna ask something regarding YES ID, recently I bought Go Starter pack with pre assigned YES ID. The pre assign ID is to long to remember a018 bla bla, so is it possible if I get new YES ID and snycronize it with pre assigned YES ID as I still got rebate and credit under the preassigned ID

Hope you guys can enlighten me.. YES-za  icon_question.gif

Yes, they will deduct RM30 even you are not using a single cent.

Extra Rm5 will be deducted.

Every month, at least Rm30 will be gone/used/spent.

QUOTE(digilife @ Nov 22 2011, 06:57 PM)
meaning its better to use (PAYU ) till rm30 is deducted rather than let YES deduct rm30 by calendar month end or till the 30 days is up?

if i only used (PAYU) only say rm25, YES will still deduct rm30, so its  rm25+rm30 lenyap from my account for tat 30days period?

another question, if i ady hav a YES ID, which package to buy to make use of the VP68 or rather to own a Huddle at the same time?

1) the rm1199 free Huddle ,rm800 credit + rm400 rebates
http://www.yes.my/v2/say-yes/huddle-4g-mobile-hotspot.do

2) HSBC rm460 Huddle promo
http://www.hsbc.com.my/1/2/personal-bankin...et-device-promo

3) Turbo kit
http://www.yes.my/v2/say-yes/promo/blaze.do
thanks
*
No, only Rm30 gone, they will charge extra Rm5, not Rm25+Rm30.
It will be Rm25+RM5.

The downside of the package is that rebate cannot be used to buy VP.
