mind to share your digi bb experience? since their claim 700+kpbs on average speed? is it real?

used Digi for 7 months...mostly get stable 1mbps averages (better than celcom) ...when reached the limit the speed capped to 256 - 328 kbps...
only problem with digi, when downloading torrent ,u cannot do surfing ...

Now got much better speed with YES for surfing and U-Mobile prepaid for download which the speed and data also better than digi...pretty gud combo for me rite know.. rclxms.gif

me too, at first i entered the number outside the box the MAC number, but a few days after I saw YES reply in Twitter you have to enter the one inside the white case 1, the one which contains your dongle: the SN starts from YES ..... something

Ipoh's Yes 4G network still remains patchy and signal can drop from full to 1 bar only within just a few hundred metres away.

Certainly not ready for use within vehicles yet as you signal can drop out of sudden causing unintended disconnections.
But where signal is strong with 4-5 bars, you get amazing speed like these:

4 bars only

thanks mate it worked!

btw, when i went in to register my dongle serial no, it asked me to sign up another userid (my current one it stated being used already).
So after i complete the registration does that mean my yesID has been changed?

thanks bro! i also faced this failed to verify warranty! I had mailed them, but seem my mail never reach them! Most will think the mac number is sn number, because my receipt also write sn = mac number, damn shit! they seem not enough people to support huge complaint from email?

This seem common problems, they should include a small picture, tell people where to find the sn number, from this small problems, can see they are not fully prepare yet... sweat.gif

where to find your sn number?

They still have a long way more to go to equal the same coverage with that of Maxis and even DiGi.

There is coverage at most areas but signal still remains very weak at most areas.

saw this in ebay
Cradlepoint MBR1000 3G/4G WiMax router
Click this to see product in ebay page

It listed out many type of USB 3G and Wimax modem that compatible with this router.
But we don't know what brand/model of modem YES GO is. so we are not sure whether YES GO dongle compatible with this Cradlepoint router.
Anyone know the brand/model of YES GO dongle?

I don't think so (at least for me) smile.gif Even 720p is not smooth and streaming.

I actually have a good experience with 1080p youtube using desktop but youtube on Ipad is like hell.

Desktop rarely stutter on 1080p. For speedtest I usually get 5-6mbit.

Finally found a way to share YES dongle by using a dsl router !  rclxm9.gif
The router has 4 LAN ports, LAN1 taken by 1st PC so can connect three more PC to the router.
The router also can provide wifi hotspot.

On 1st PC need to enable sharing for the YES connection

Just imagine the latency on this setup.

ok, i did some speedtest. The speed just as good as if you plug the dongle directly to the laptop/pc.
