QUOTE(lwliam @ Aug 1 2010, 10:16 PM) not in a rush, it can come out whenever it is mature enough to come out, i'd rather have a bug free system which does what it needs to do without hiccups rather than a half/nearly complete model coming out, only to need a minor upgrade later on... read: iPhone4 lol |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Aug 1 2010, 10:34 PM) im predicting the coming bodies to be quite promising, seeing the NEX's ISO performance even with an APSC sized sensor. and the coming of videoSLR in the A7xx mock up, it seems that sony is working its way into that field. surely if they only had something similar to what canon and nikon have on their bodies now for video, sony would've launched the product way back then.. but im predicting it will revolutionize the way videoSLR works, the same way Sony revolutionized live-view in its dSLRs compared to current competitors. yeah.. couldnt agree more. i think the MF live-view check is a great innovation IMO. im hoping the coming A7xx model will embody, if not better the Nex's ISO performance. |

QUOTE(porkchop @ Aug 2 2010, 09:59 AM) a550 is worth the price...i've tested john's nex3 and his staff nex5 the other day....the nex5 is much better to use, but interface i prefer non-touchscreen over touchscreen. if its touchscreen, as willy said, the price will shoot up. and the battery consumption is going to increase (take note that the NEX's battery life is already considerably bad as it is), and i just dont like people borrowing my camera and touching the touch screen... |

i think the durability and materials used play a huge part in pricing as well. of course im not denying the fact that we, as users, do pay for the name of the manufacturer.
Added on August 2, 2010, 7:40 pm QUOTE(lwliam @ Aug 2 2010, 07:38 PM) are there any glasses involved in the adapter? if got, then take the ori one, if dont have then by all means... get the 3rd party. maybe siggy can get the 3rd party one to play2 and maybe next time when the adapter is available outside Sony Centre/Style, can get ori at cheaper price.but do note that the ori adapter has a firmware installed in it as well, according to the review done by albnok. so should there be any firmware updates in the future, it COULD enable SAM/SSM lenses to AF *do correct me if im wrong that the adapters are currently only being sold at Sony Authorized Distributors. im not sure. ahpingko: haha.. secondhand flash can be as good as new flash, depending on usage and of course the owner... i got my minolta for a bargain and glass (dont know what to call it) is not yellowish... and still firing very well.
applemango: dont rush in buying stuff. calculate your money and spending wisely.. and know your needs... not wants. |
