Hmm... I'd say Dragon Age 2 battle is less tactical than before and it feels a lot more like a hack and slash RPG game now. I don't have a problem with that, and the spells are much cooler looking. The characthers though doesn't have that same impact they did on DAO. I haven't finished the game but it doesn't look like its connected to what happened in DAO. Downside as well is they fixed something that wasn't broken. Like equiping armor is only for Hawke. Still enjoyable enough though..... and one more thing, that Dalish elf mage - awkward.

Dragon Age 2's mage skills look killer now. A lot better than the previous but not as powerful. I'm using a level 13 mage now and so far, don't know if you'll get that magic where you summon your giant hands and tear shit apart. Anyone gotten that?

QUOTE(H@H@ @ Mar 10 2011, 02:13 PM) IINM, in the demo (Not sure if it was retained for the full game, coz I haven't played a Mage), if you played as a Mage, the cutscene where you kill the first ogre, shows the use of that skill. Whether or not that makes it into the game proper is another story. Yea, in the first scene I tore that ogre apart with that skill.

Just finished the game not long ago, dammit. I can only express disappointment. The storyline was nowhere near continuing what happened in DAO. For a game that sets ten years it was pretty short. I was expecting an epic battle at the end. Guess I was wrong...
