Not just that I think, the Hi-Res Texture Packs add an additional 1.08Gb to the total size. Makes the game look a lot better, according to screenshots.

Its entirely optional though.

Well, after finishing the game, I can only sum it up like this:

Likes:
-Faster paced combat system.
-Well written main story, a good deviation from the standard CRPG plot.
-Certain side quests that actually have profound consequences on the main storyline based on your decisions.
-Interesting new artwork.
-Exceptional dialogue, typical of Bioware games.
-Well-fleshed companion quest chains.
-More balance between classes (Doesn't stop mages from being OP though XD)

Dislikes:
-Too many unnecessary side quests which distract from the main storyline.
-Items strength scale too steeply, basically defeating the point of gathering high-leveled loot in the first place, as you eventually get "normal" items stronger than your "special" loot.
-Less customization options.
-Isometric camera view option virtually non-existent, plus the removal of the drag-and-select system, makes tactical combat a pain in the arse.
-Compensation of less powerful enemies by spawning more enemies, which imbalances AoE skills.
-Game setting a bit too small for my liking.
-STOP REUSING THE SAME DAMN DUNGEONS AND ENVIRONMENTS mad.gif (You've thought they've learnt that after Mass Effect 1)
-Animations a bit choppy and awkward, needs more work.
-Game design feels rushed, which is unsurprising considering the time spent to develop this game.

The Revenant in DA2 is like a pus**. Easily vanquished even on nightmare.

I remember in DAO, I used to tremble at the sight of a Revenant with its fearsome big ass blade and devastating "tractor beam" ability. The most effective method to kill them is to spam hex spells and run around a lot haha. Now that is not necessary.

Agree to that. Revenants are now pretty much cannon fodder, you can even deal elemental damage to them now, which means that by now even a mage can 1v1 them without much trouble on lower difficulties.

On the other hand, rage demons become quite a pain to kill though, no thanks to their habit of disappearing underground every time after taking a few hits from my party members.

Is there a way to make my main character run a lot faster?

Seem to be wasting time commuting to one end to the other.

They should let us use the "Haste" ability while we are out of combat... : biggrin.gif
