it looks like our moon , idk about the end of days, but looks like this concept is not far off, planets do collide.
Scientist do believe that the creation of the moon comes from this theory, where a smaller planet collide with the earth, spewing chunks for rocks and soils up to the sky.
They also believe that planets takes form by collecting dust particle flying around the galaxy. In those particle there will be one rock/meteorite spinning fast, creating both gravity and heat. This way the chunk of rocks will gather and melt into a sphere like shape.
anyway, by looking into this concept, the only suspicion i have is how did the moon escape from the gravitational circuit and launch itself into earth? Did the earth itself suddenly lost its gravity, if it is then everyone will just die from radiation or suffocate from the lack of oxygen in space.
