it looks like our moon , idk about the end of days, but looks like this concept is not far off, planets do collide.

Scientist do believe that the creation of the moon comes from this theory, where a smaller planet collide with the earth, spewing chunks for rocks and soils up to the sky.

They also believe that planets takes form by collecting dust particle flying around the galaxy. In those particle there will be one rock/meteorite spinning fast, creating both gravity and heat. This way the chunk of rocks will gather and melt into a sphere like shape.

anyway, by looking into this concept, the only suspicion i have is how did the moon escape from the gravitational circuit and launch itself into earth? Did the earth itself suddenly lost its gravity, if it is then everyone will just die from radiation or suffocate from the lack of oxygen in space.

sos = Giant Impact Hypothesis

Moon was a planet that collide with earth before it was form there isn't it?

Why doesn't this theory make sense O.o

Nah, physics are definitely off. An impact that size would probably completely destroy and renew the crust. ANother thing would be the shockwaves would cause significant damage the other side of the earth before the dust cloud actually engulfed the region.

everything in the earth are related to physics . even magic do relate with physics . without physics ... we are still living in a cave =D

i think this is more an assumption of what could happen..

law of physic define everything, be it absolute or not, as far as we concerned, the black hole the only place known to breaks all the rules..

it is possible for a a big meteor to collide with earth.. It is the question of 'when'?

technically, that's an asteroid, by classification the biggest meteoroid only spans 10m across.

whatever knowledge that we have today is either a true or false information derived from past people assumptions. researches can be some organized knowledge on the rack; however it might expire with the time.

strange things happen everyday and not much of scientific information and predictions can defend against those paranormal things.

if it's about meteors and such; miracle do happens but it's not only from outside galaxy, but also within the Earth.

it's as if earth absorbed the moon's impact. this is highly impossible bcuz the impact alone will break the earth's core and completely destroy the side where it hits
