i have a question here which i got uncertain answers from my friends, i hope someone could clarify this matter for me as i'm only a student and have to keep tabs.

I'm currently using maxis ivalue 1.
I have to pay a monthly commitment of RM100.
which includes 333mins of free talk time and 200sms (maxis to maxis only).

So, if i call or sms other lines such as Digi or Celcom, do i have to pay extra prior to the RM100 above? (eg. RM100.10)

However, i have also heard that I have a RM50 allocated for calls and RM50 for data within that RM100 monthly fee i'm paying. Is that true?

So if i were to call or sms other lines, it would be deducted from that RM50 rather than needing me to pay extra for the call prior to the RM100?

i desperately need a clarification for this, thank you.

YES. No matter where you call Digi, Maxis or Celcom. If the bill is above RM100 you need pay the extra.
RM100 = Mean minimum usage for 1 Month. If you not Exceed RM100 you still need pay Maxis RM100
NO. IValue1 include Free Data 1GB, If you exceed it will be charged at RM0.05/10kB
NO. RM100 is Minimum spend at you bills.
For Example if you use RM50 for this month(Call, SMS, MMS or Data).
But you still need to Pay RM100 per month + Service Charge

what if my bill doesn't exceed RM100 per month?

my main concern is that, do i have to pay extra charges if i call or sms other lines such as digi or celcom?

does that means that the RM100 does include all the charges such as sms and calls even to other lines? not only maxis?

i'm not concerned about maxis to maxis line as i have 333mins of free calls and 200smses.

i'm worried that maxis will charge me extra on the RM100 if i call and sms other lines.

thanks for your reply, but please do enlighten me for these queries notworthy.gif

Thanks so much for your reply. Really appreciate it.

By the way is there any way to find out how much is my current charges?

By calling *100*7*1# I was shown that my unbilled amount is RM30 (which is still within the RM100 range), is this the amount I have used? And if I pay the bill, I'll be paying RM100 or RM130?

just want to share with you guys on the iphone contract rate calculations.

i'm subscribing to ivalue 1,meaning rm100 per month.so the breakdown is,

rm50 is for calls. 0.15min*free 333mins = rm49.95

rm20 is for SMS. 0.10perSMS*200 = rm20.00

rm5 is for MMS. 0.25perMMS*20 = rm5.00

and the remaining rm25 is for the data e.g. 1Gb.

that totals to rm100.example if you call exceeding 333mins,so you will be charged extra on top of rm100,by the rate of 0.15/min.

if you SMS or MMS more than the provided amount, then it will be charged extra to the RM100 too.

as for me,i always get charged extra because of exceeding SMS.my monthly bill is around rm130-140 including taxes.

does this means if you call or SMS to other lines other than maxis, the charges will be on top of the RM100?

so, the RM100 is just for Maxis-to-Maxis calls and sms only right?

Hey guys I have a question and really need some opinions.

I bought my iPhone a month ago with a one year contract. According to maxis, their iPhone is unlocked so basically we can use the phone with any operators. I'm leaving to study abroad in India after a year. So is it possible for me to still use my iPhone in india by subscribing to India's prepaid operators? Or should I just leave my iPhone back in Malaysia and use a normal phone instead?
