The price would drop because if it is the same price as the Iphone 4 32gb, I don't think anybody would want to buy the 3gs 32gb. |

An update on maxis iphone status from maxis centre manager.
Currently Iphone 3gs got new promotion to clear out stock.. On the Iphone 4 launch is expected to be in September, prices and stock has not been released to any Maxis centers yet.. Will go another maxis center to ask and compare info.. |

Forgot to mention also new 3GS promotion is extended till 31 August only =D
Price should not be too expensive but I am worried at the beginning they wont sell the Iphones without a plan. |

Currently I working with Maxis for an event so I go chit chat with the staff ask for insider info.. Now in bangsar next location piramid.. |

Yeah try my best.. Plus see can get contacts anot maybe skip the queue using staff purchase XD poex@ Yes it is the same model 16GB and 32GB black Iphone 4.. For Iphone 4 white looks like not much updates from apple. |

Final verdict after talking to people from maxis center not the Maxis MEP or dealer..
Source from people in front desk to behind the scene  , until today no information has been released by maxis top management regarding the Iphone 4 plan/price or date of release to the maxis centers and MEP/dealer.However I managed to get the name and mobile number to the management team for *ahem* Maybe once it launches I can help you all if possible.. Hopefully he doesn't forget me lol.. Also many people enquired about the mid sale iphone 3gs promotion.. Currently no stock in the maxis center.. Bangsar branch got stock till the last day I worked.. Now don't know still got anot.. |

Two stages pre-order is it one stage for staff and second stage for maxis customers..?
Few of the staff working in Maxis center are also waiting to buy the Iphone 4 themselves. |

By right pre-order should get the Iphone 4 faster than those who did not pre-order. But sometimes the Maxis center no stock and have to wait for stock, so pre-order also need to wait.
I planing to pre-order then ask contact to reserve the unit before stock runs out.I notice the "Out of stock" currently with the 3GS mid year promotion, Maxis center no stock at all need go waiting list but bangsar MEP can straight walk in and get stock. |

Get contacts in Maxis center, I am sure they can just keep one unit in the office on the reason of reservation for loyal customer that is what I am gonna try to do

Yeah outright buy no change in price but I think now only got 32GB 3GS no more 16GB. Current promotion also giving free Iphone 3GS under I-Value 4.

Maxis Center Gardens just asked this morning. Answer I get is late September. So I guess one thing is that the launch will not be later than september.

Actually maxis plan is good for those high users like people already on postpaid or prepaid monthly bill same as the plan. Those people can enjoy a new phone and package with what they existing already paying. For people like me prepaid one month around RM30 sometimes less take the plan burn a big hole in the pocket

When she massages a bit beside the Home Button, the sound comes back. She don't want to change 1 to 1. Malas she said. So my point is, when you go to replace any unit do check it super meticulously. I got rattling sound from my 1st iPhone 4 (1 month old), I got rattling sound from my 2nd iPhone 4 (several seconds old), my wife got NO sound from her iPhone 4. Now I'm on my third unit of iPhone 4. So far so good. |
