QUOTE(fastreader @ Oct 20 2010, 06:29 PM) i read the 1st page dy..but still got some confusion and doubts..can someone pls enligthen me.. Q1: if i get the iData plan, can the phjone make calls?...or is it STRICTLY for surfing only?... Q2: if i get the idata plan, am i forced to take up a call plan?.. pls advise me of the above matters, the idata is just an addon plan, for example if you have valueplus 50 and you + idata 50 becomes RM100 per month, calls and smses will be unde rthe valueplus while the data is under idata.

QUOTE(fastreader @ Oct 20 2010, 07:47 PM) oic..so the idata plan cannot be a standalone plan?.. what about the ivalue?..it got data limit there too and callplan, so this can be a standalone rite?..just to confirm my understanding.

QUOTE(yanhui95 @ Mar 27 2011, 02:18 PM) Hi guys, what to do if the back of the iphone 4 is cracked? warranty can't do anything right?
warranty does not cover accidental damage.

maxis drops rm100 across all the iphone rrp. Adjusted to reflect the current currency exchange i guess. the plans does not reflect this though.

QUOTE(ocyrus @ Nov 1 2011, 05:27 PM) Here's the deal: I still have 7 months left on my 24-month 3GS contract. Yesterday my iPhone got water-damaged and couldn't turn on anymore i.e. it's dead! Planning to buy 4S when it comes out later this year. My question is this: can I just overwrite my 3GS contract when I get the 4S or do I have to terminate my 3GS contract and get a new contract? Does Maxis charge a penalty for terminating your contract before the end date? If so, how much? You can add on the new contract to your existing contract. I.e: you have 7months, you add another 12 months = 19 months. the only thing you can't do is to take a new 24 months plan and add on to your 7 months. Maxis only allows 30 months worth of contract at one time. Added on November 1, 2011, 6:06 pmQUOTE(s3an_looi @ Nov 1 2011, 04:14 PM) Nope... pretty quiet about Malaysia launch. no rumor also.. aih... Where are the 'trusted sources' ?all i know, they have cleared the iPhone 4 inventory. None of the lower level staff know anything at this point. If i have to guess, it'll be the 24th Nov weekend. QUOTE(Eidilfitrix @ Nov 8 2011, 02:18 PM) I heard it will launch similar like the iPhone 4 which is at 12 midnight. The place is to be announced. hmm, have to line up waaaayyyy earlier then judging by the crowd. hopefully the ip4 owners will not upgrade to the new phone in droves! 24,25th should be the right time. "register your interest" page is not up hmm.

QUOTE(Eidilfitrix @ Nov 14 2011, 09:32 AM) Yes, i mean what does Apple see their marketing in India? Malaysia can outsell iPhone here more than India. hmm What are you talking about? india has a population of 1.17billion versus a malaysian population of 28.4million. What does that tell you? And Aircel is owned by maxis, it's pretty clear that they want to start making money there first, since they have a subscriber base of 50mil, compared to a sum of 11.7mil back at home. This is more of a maxis decision making process. This post has been edited by nimrod323: Nov 14 2011, 11:30 AM
