QUOTE(HappyGOLuckyme @ Aug 13 2010, 09:38 PM) I need info on pre-ordering. last year like this ok but iphone 4 should be the same - 1) When? (will Maxis inform us?) 2) Where? (people say KLCC) 3) How? (How much do we have to pay for pre-order? How do we pre-order? Willl the money we used to pre-order be included in the paying for the iPhone 4? 1) wait lah not yet, register your interest first at maxis, they will inform you 2) Any maxis center and even Apple reseller like Machines 3) last time have to book online. then print out a receipt and go maxis center to pay RM200 booking fee. the balance you have to pay when collecting the phone. of course the rm200 booking fee is part of the iphone cost 4) be patient I hope this time with iphone 4 still can get free 500mb data per month This post has been edited by idoblu: Aug 13 2010, 11:23 PM |

QUOTE(HappyGOLuckyme @ Aug 13 2010, 10:52 PM) iData right? Yeah its much cheaper than the iValue plans. But there's something I wanna make sure. Lets say I'm getting the iData 2 (RM50 per month for 500MB) now and I just reloaded RM50 into my prepaid card for calls and SMSs only. Maxis will know that I'm on iData 2 so they won't deduct my RM50 credit which is going to be used for calls and SMSs, right? Instead they'll charge ANOTHER RM50 for the 500MB hence every month I needa pay RM100. Does it work this way? Sorry if my questions are stupid. As I've always been a postpaid user. If I'm switching to prepaid, does it mean that I'll be less prioritized for the new iPhone 4 compared to other postpaid users who are signing up for the new iValue plans? QUOTE(fuiyo @ Aug 13 2010, 11:25 PM) iData right? Yeah its much cheaper than the iValue plans. u're only eligible for iData plans if u use maxis value plus 50 and up postpaid plans. not available for hotlink prepaidBut there's something I wanna make sure. If I'm switching to prepaid, does it mean that I'll be less prioritized for the new iPhone 4 compared to other postpaid users who are signing up for the new iValue plans? for hotlink u need the Mobile Internet package, which is rm68 per month for 500mb. rm88 for 1.5gb and rm98 for 3gb. this is not an iphone-only package, any phone can purchase so lets say u reload rm100, n purchase the 500mb plan. so 100-68=rm32, so u credit for calls/sms/etc is rm32. calls n sms rates according to what hotlink plan u use. but then 500mb/month data is free for the 1st year so no need to pay lah at least that's how i understand it This post has been edited by dvlzplayground: Aug 14 2010, 12:18 AM |

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Aug 14 2010, 12:17 AM) u're only eligible for iData plans if u use maxis value plus 50 and up postpaid plans. not available for hotlink prepaid true... my 3gs serves me well with free 500mb data/permonth and it'll expire this september... for hotlink u need the Mobile Internet package, which is rm68 per month for 500mb. rm88 for 1.5gb and rm98 for 3gb. this is not an iphone-only package, any phone can purchase so lets say u reload rm100, n purchase the 500mb plan. so 100-68=rm32, so u credit for calls/sms/etc is rm32. calls n sms rates according to what hotlink plan u use. but then 500mb/month data is free for the 1st year so no need to pay lah at least that's how i understand it for my usage... i guess 500mb is more than enough.... hopefully maxis will do this again with iphone 4 eventhou im kinda skeptical about it |

QUOTE(fuiyo @ Aug 14 2010, 12:23 AM) Yeah man, the 3G speed is way slower than the 3.6 that they have claimed. i think by now everyone knows whatever the rated speed of thier internet is not the real speed. Shud be common knowledge already hehehBut most of my friends are Maxis users and I'm very happy with my number LOL |
