hello guys, how much maxis charged if i break the contract? let say ivalue1 for 2 years

Currently on maxis RM50 and subline Rm30 per month, If I want go to IP4 16gb, how much need to paid?

Hi guys, need some opinion...

My maxis account again been charged exceeded data usage, this time within 3rd day of my bill monthly cycle, they sent me a SMS alerting me usage reaching 400mb+

I am very sure I did not used such volume of data, and been using only whatsapp, browsing Facebook without downloading video or photos.

I would like to know if there is any way that can consume data? Gps Papago? I did use Papago for gps less then 30 mmins...

That is frustrAted, maxis keep insisting it is my usage and worse the account still bound by 6 months contract!

But, I believe that it will be available in early November!

I'm using Papago and Waze almost everyday, I believe both don't consume lots of data especially Papago, it still can work if u switch off the data. Whatsapp may consume lots of data if u received and sent lots of photos and videos and messages. My wife got a shock last months becoz of whatsapp..especially during festive seasons, sending greetings videos and messages to friends and family.

To study this issue more details:

1) try monitor ur data or apps activities, download ur own data monitor apps.

2) If u hv lots of social media like twitter, facebook, whatsapp, instagram, foursquare, etc working in the background, u may get another shock later. But what the hack to have a smartphone without using those and getting the latest update in time?? That's the dilemma here.

Either you switch to a higher data plan or dicipline urself on the monitoring... switch off all the background apps and it will not only save ur battery and also save ur heart from another "BILL SHOCK" attack..

Thanks bro,I have been using maxis iPhone since iPhone 3G. So far have encounter 3 times of similar scenario where they claimed I hv overused data.

I am a mild fb & watsapp user, and Internet browsing also less then half an hour.

I dun trust their record,and they insist they won't make mistake in capturing data usage of a device..

I dun wan upgrade my existing contract and got bound longer. I will surely leave lousy maxis after 6 months

what kind of news ? from internet ? newspaper ?
