yes u can buy retail BUT
1. u must be a Hotlink user
2. as the demand is so high now, they'll be focusing more to postpaid user

now then, i've read tru the iphone forum there were couple of guys that successfully bought iphone 4 with retail price but point 1. still need to be use.

their method of handling the bills are really quite odd.... same here... add there... minus there i still need to pay around rm200++

Anyways there are certain members here who have insider info. It has been proven time and time again since the launch of the previous gen iphones.
Everytime before launch and before details are shown these members have given information that were accurate and specific.

anyhow....
one thing i do like about maxis is THE SPEED... the data speed is really quite fast eventhou its on Edge.... watching youtube on 3g data is like a breeze and faster than my wifi streamyx....

yeah im pissed off since the day i tied the contract with them..... now expire already and im now thinking so many times either to get iphone from abroad or just wait for maxis and be pissed for another year.... but i dont think my blood pressure would handle the situation well thou.... hahaahahah

not to worry... every month i complaint also.... the 1st 6 months it was like a monthly routine.... till i got so fed up and email the complaints using maxis website. it did the job but i was not a happy customer for 6 months!

the matters are settled now but the scars.... but one thing i like about maxis is the SPEED! its faster than all the telco in my experience.... and my friend feel the same way too...

problems is the system itself....

they usually accumulate all the usage 1st then after the end of ur bill cycle then they divided which is for free and which need to be charge and note... they dont have current monitoring system of how much have u used (the call/sms etc) and if u f**ked that up... get ready for a bill shock or more annoying the bill limit because after the bill over the limit (like me i set it around RM300) they automatically barred ur line.... u have to pay 1st then they can release the line


just thinking about it makes my blood boils...
