Hey guys, im planning on getting the iphone 4 from maxis with the ivalue 1 for 12 months. But im currently using celcom and dont want to port my celcom to maxis. So i plan to register a new maxis number. Can i register for a new number on the day i sign up for the iphone contract?? Or do i have to register for a new number first, then only go MC the next day for iphone 4.

And also, how much is the payment to register for a new number?

U can do both register new number (as in new line) and get the Iphone 4 at the same time.

I'm not sure if somebody has brought this thing up as I could find any in this topic. Will we be eligible to apply any Value Extras example Extra SMS with our iValue plan? For instance, we already have 200SMS but it is not enough for me so I'm gonna add another 500SMS for extra RM8 per month. Looking at maxis website, one condition to receive the extra value deal is to subscribe Value Plans or Family Plus Plans.

is Maxis have any hidden charges? im using ivalue plan.. i dont remember which one.. but im already disabling the 3G and data roaming.. but my bill keep increasing from the first month till today even i already pay all the outstanding. the first month ok la.. around RM100 but now my bill is around Rm260++. why Maxis is charging me that amount but my credit limit is RM150?? anyone.. please give some advise..

It'll be the next month onwards not the current bill cycle and u also make sure you don't have any balance carry forwards from previous months

i got previous months balance carry forwards, tht y current month cycle i did not have RM80 set off...

wish to share some experience on the iPhone support given. prepare for a war.

the story starts when I went for working trip to Kuching, on the second day of my trip somehow I screwup my iPhone with the factory restore , giving no choice I head to the nearest mc to get help, reach there about 5.30pm and was told they we're closing, but after a few sweet talk manage to get the iPhone genius to help me out, so he try to boot my phone into dfu mode but after about 5 min he still fail to do so, so I took a look and told him plug the USB in to the COMPUTER!!!! wth
And so we manage to boot into dfu and the iTunes shows 65mins of download time for the iOS , wth they should have save the iOS up in a tumb drive or something . until then it was kinda late so I told him I will come back tomorrow. the iPhone genius nodded.
back to the mc tomorrow at 11, to my goddist of sexiness they did't download the iOS from yesterday, giving no choice but to wait I ask them to do it for me as I would wait for it, after my phone was plug in I saw the downloading time was 3 hours....... I look at him and he show me the "I don't know what to do face". being so desperate to get my phone working I walk out of the mc and went in to the digi Center beside.
and so we have a happy ending with my phone working after 35mins. so please comment on this whole story!

they`ll post your monthly statement to your house. but u can choose to change to e-statement! can save rm3/monthly...

Hey. I have an iPhone 4 now on a hotlink prepaid line. I bought it overseas so I am not eligible for the free 500mb per month Internet.

Now I am wondering what are the plans that suits me, for postpaid. Ivalue and idata plans are on contract right?

That means I have to go for normal value and data plans like other phones? Hmmm. I am wondering what's the best option I have now.
