I am now thinking of getting a Wii to work out. I have been growing sideways since......2 years back

I heard Wii 2 is launching soon this year, therefore not sure is it a good time to buy Wii now.

It would be best if you could quote to us where the rumor that you have heard from. Reason being that the plan for the Wii is that it won't be launched at least in the next 2 years (which would mean 2012.)

Reason also, being that 3DS is the next focus.

when patcher (u know that famous guy who always perdicts wrongly) perdicted wii 2 will launch fall 2010, i said then he was wrong. and it turn out he was really wrong, coz no, wii 2 won't launch fall 2010.

talking about work out, u know what tech goes best - its the microsoft kinect. who said i bash kinect all the time. kinect rocks!! sometimes. holding/stepping on a controller while exercising is, well.......primitive...and a little silly at times (silly - recalling doing d hula hoop on balance board)

Wii 2 won't be out anytime soon.

But Nintendo IS working on a HD console.

Whether that is the Wii 2 or a different console altogether...no one really knows

Wii HD? hhmmm...

nintendo only comes out with new hardware when they can disrupt the flow of gaming. wii - disrupt the analog controller. ds - disrupt single screen and button mashing handhelds. 3ds disrupt 2d display gameplay. so wii 2 - will disrupt what? i hope they do virtual boy 2. it was a good idea but technology was not mature that time. but now its pretty mature to reintroduce it again.

what is the differences of Wii one and Wii two ?...
may i know the current market price of Wii ?

I think the successor to Wii will be announced 2 years after the launch of 3DS if we follow Nintendo's console/ handheld launch cycle. And thus it's too early to discuss this yet.
