Hey guys, a little confused here: I've read some posts saying you can purchase the iP4 with a M'sian CC at the Sg.Apple Store, but when I try to enter the billing address fields there's a little highlight saying the address is incorrect.

How do you purchase from the Sg Store with a M'sian CC?

You need to use a Singapore post code in your billing address.

I use the same Sg post code as my delivery address.

So how does that work with a M'sian CC then?

It works with a Msian CC. You just need to put in a Sg post code in your CC billing address instead of your original Msia post code.

And when they bill you...how will it cross-check with your CC company?

Also, address fields are kinda short, can't seem to fill complete address. Will this be a problem?

Just curious, thanks for your helpful info btw. Going to try this in a second...

On the cross-checking part - sorry I have no idea. I can only tell you that this is the only to order using a Msian CC.

The billing address field you mean? I too had to cut short mine but my order still went through. Just crossing my fingers that it won't have any problems once the phone arrives and its time to ship.

Also just for you info, your CC will only be charged once the phone is shipped.

All righty, crossing my fingers too. Thanks for the info man! Here's hoping we get to FaceTime in 4 weeks.

Probably the only thing you can try is to cancel the order and try with another card  smile.gif
If that doesn't work, I guess you have to find someone's help or wait for our malaysian telco
You are indeed the first that mention this problem. My ipad camera kit arrived about a week back from SG online apple store  laugh.gif

Can I ask if you used a M'sian CC? And if so, what did you enter for the postcode field?

haha he just wants me to sell it to him for 1/2 price!

no but seriously, does a maxis microsim activate the phone? cos i know you need a sim to initialize the activation. if a sg sim is required then i'd have to get one else when the phones come, it cant be used.

owners of iphone 4, boleh tolong answer?

Pretty sure it's just a regular sim, but in a smaller form factor. Some of those that already have their iPhones just used a sim cutting tool to reduce the size - and it should work fine.
