I was trying to speed up delivery.
Apparently the SG iPhone4s are being manufactured in China and will ship to Singapore via DHL. They will only arrive 3 weeks from the date of order and this is controlled by the DHL service that Apple is using. If i wanted to bypass the local delivery, I had the option to pick it up at some DHL cargo center (not likely as I am not an Apple staff member). So despite having paid for it, I will still be waiting quietly (NOT) for them to deliver it.... *sigh* was kinda hoping they would exceed customer expectations and deliver it early.... has been done before... |

Apparently, the 1st person to report from Singapore that Apple Store have started preparing for shipment...!!

My status at order status changed to Prepared for Shipment today from Not yet shipped, so hopefully can expect delivery date to be earlier than given at 30/8/2010.
