I myself got a pedal lock for my car around 300 including installation.Since then,i ditched off my steering lock which i have been using before i bought the p.lock.
Quite convenient than s.lock as you just need to slot in the key and unlock it where as you have to unlock and take out and put somewhere bla bla for the s.lock.
Personally i would say pedal lock does a better job,but both wil be a good combo if you have a eye catchy civic or something.
