Ok called up Unifi CS, they ask me to use there own speed test website to test the speed.
http://speedometer.unifi.my The result came out different from speedtest.net result. Now I'm confuse?! Here is from speedometer.unifi.my result [attachmentid=1700261] And here is from speedtest.net ![]() |

QUOTE(rizvanrp @ Jul 30 2010, 07:50 AM) Also, I think the Linksys switch he's using is 76radius's old Cisco IDS switch which I configured as a VLAN bridge a month+ ago (?). It's around RM450-600+ retail so I think you might be better off just buying an actual managed switch with VLAN support. Oh forgot to thanks to you too. Mine fried about 2 weeks after the install. Low quality equipment |

Called Unifi technician, they found out on Saturday morning some TM contractor open up the manhole to do some wiring and accidentally twisted the fiber optic cable. QUOTE(rizvanrp @ Aug 16 2010, 01:30 PM) @klseet rizvanrp,Anyway, that's very good news for Huawei BTU owners. Fiberhome BTUs lock the switch ports to 1 device at a time so this is pretty much impossible for us early adopters You mean I just connect my router to Huawei LAN2 for my internet connection? As for IPTV, I still need a switch support VLAN to connect to my set-top-box? This post has been edited by mamakap: Aug 16 2010, 03:28 PM |

QUOTE(pr0di9y @ Aug 16 2010, 05:05 PM) Guide as requested, Thanks for the tips pr0di9y, so the IPTV still cannot connect directly to the Huawei BTU?Any other questions kindly drop me a PM. Also I will not be held responsible for any hardware problems in which would occur if somehow you screw up on the steps. So please at least have some knowledge on how to configure your personal router before hand. Or just read the manual of the devices before proceed with this guide. Good luck have fun |
