@cannavaro
fluctuating to around 100 KB/s for MU, but not constant either. This is a supposedly 20mbit line. @djhenry91 they called twice to advertise and still screwed everything up. Maybe you're better off without their calls? |

Hey guys,
I've been using Unifi 20mbit for about a week now and am very unhappy with the crappy quality. The IPTV is also unwatchable. I'm definitely not paying for this crap. What's the process to switch to 5mbit? (is there any lower package? I can't even get 5mbit with my supposed 20mbit package currently) Thanks |

^unwatchable meaning constant blur / lines / etc. It was already like that when they fixed it. In fact, they changed the STB already. No difference.
They did speedtest with their laptop(s) connected via Ethernet and couldn't get good speeds either. Said there was some 'maintenance' going on.... Speedtest results : IP range : 110.159.* Down: 1512 kbps (189 KB/sec) Up: 2878 kbps (359.8 KB/sec) They told me I could downgrade... Hmm I have to pay extra now? |

TTDI. There's loads of Unifi posters near my place advertising 'high speed broadband' @Yoda Using Unifi 20mbit for less than 2 weeks. Everything is new. Never gotten 20mbit speeds before. Even the TM people who checked the fiber cable and tested with their own laptops (both wired & wireless connections) don't know what to say anymore, just the usual 'wait' and 'problem with the port' crap. |

@Cannavaro + yoda
The fiber cable to my house is connected to the telephone pole (not sure what its called exactly) right outside my house. They've checked and a separate group of TM people have double checked. I don't think the cable is the problem. What's embarrassing (for them) is I'm literally walking distance from the TM building in TTDI and they can't even fix this problem in their own back yard. EDIT : Forgot to add - they told me they'd cancel my Streamyx account also, but I still received the bill....... This post has been edited by expl0it: Aug 28 2010, 07:20 PM |

My Unifi connection was down the entire day. Now its up and I'm getting 10mbit speeds (using 20mbit package - previously only getting 1mbit).
Its better than before, but still not up to standard. |

Do you guys have probs with the IPTV box (whatever its called) time not being accurate (when in standby - which is most of the time)?
If I switch it off and on again (or use it), its fine. But after a while, the time slowly goes out of sync. First by 1 or 2 minutes and then eventually its very noticeable. |

I'm having the same problem with the IP Phone. I'm not using the Huawei BTU. Its the while colored one with FTTH written on it.
Unifi support is useless. What do you guys do to fix it? Thanks |
