who pay manual nowadays ?  doh.gif

I just checked the Unifi Billing & Payment Guide, and just noticed it has been updated to inform us that we can pay online now, but only via M2U. I tested it out and can confirm that we can select 'Telekom Malaysia Berhad - UniFi' in the 'Utilities' category. I then called UniFi CS to ask when it would be available in CIMBclicks, but the rep couldn't answer. I also asked when it was made available in M2U, and she said it was already available for a month? Huh, I'm pretty sure a lot of people checked with UniFi CS these past few weeks and got the same answer that we couldn't pay online for now. What crappy customer service, but that's nothing new I guess. Oh well, at least we can pay online now.

Guys, I don't understand why there's a need for 10mbps where I think 5mbps is decent enough to handle much of the requirements.

Unless if you're person that downloading 50GB per day for blue-ray movies.

Bwa? Now I don't understand what you're trying to say. I have 20Mbps and it's still not enough.

Can I know what you're doing with your 20mbps line at home?
*
It's mostly idle actually. I want the speed so I would spend less time downloading PS3 games/demos/firmware updates/DLC, WoW patches, videogame combo/tournament videos, work-related files/software updates, etc. It also helps a lot when I have to navigate through poorly designed Flash-heavy or Flash-based websites. I'm a busy man (not to mention impatient) so every second counts, lol.

Yes for landed property but for flatted unit TM won't allowed you to have another broadband in the house this is what i got from the Unifi CS and also for the TM Installer... don't know if others user can have both when staying at flatted unit..
wow! 20mbps... what will be the estimated time when ddl for 700mb file..for sure fast one..

mine only for 5Mbps and unfortunately when i did speedtest with unifi apps(via lan cable) it shows from 0% to 60% processing only can reach 2.60Mbps at the end to reach another 40% then can reach 4.70Mbps...  Unifi Technical said if suppose to get 80% from 5Mbps doh.gif  ... reported to Unifi and don't know how long it will be settle...  rclxub.gif

700MB file should only take around 5 minutes at top speed.

Actually I like the IPTV, eventhough there are not many programs, surprisingly the quality is good, especially on those HD like channel 144, also somehow I notice the SD channels are slightly better than Byond.
Somemore it has BBC-Top Gear  thumbup.gif

The best part is the IPTV will not be affected by under heavy rain or thunder !  tongue.gif

Yeah, same here. As for me, the best part of IPTV is I get to watch old Hong Kong movies, including the pontianak cina movies that was banned by the Gov't. Talk about nostalgia. Man, I grew up with those stuff, lol.

Does it apply to all GPON/VDSL2 models? And is there any way to mitigate the security risk from our side?

TM really doesn't give a damn about any form of security =/

I know, I keep getting this crazy idea that TM is doing this on purpose. Y'know, so it can potentially generate more revenue for them when users experience frequent downtime and/or exorbitant long distance call charges caused by telephone/modem hijacking.

Out of curiosity, can we track the culprit down with the SIP ID that it was changed to?

I go to "Maintain->Log" and enable the log, saw some information on log display but not sure whether can see anything or not? unsure.gif

Now that I think about it, the SIP ID was probably just changed to a random number. Wouldn't make any sense for the culprit to put down his own ID there.
