Bro, mind to share how you create VLAN? I search through DD-WRT, I only manage to create 0-15 vlan. Any idea? -pWs- |

QUOTE(Traveler @ Jul 31 2010, 11:50 PM) Hah.. looks like we both will get our VIP20 on the same day. I just hope I don't have to mess around with my home network's setup to get this thing installed. Me too. I wish to use my Linksys WRT160N DDWRT to replace the DLink. But it seems like nobody success to do it yet. -pWs- |

QUOTE(cosmicmeadow @ Aug 10 2010, 11:14 PM) Can I use an old Linksys WRT54G v5.0 and pair it with the DIR615 as VLAN bridge (follow bro rizvanrp's guide)? Yes you can. As long as the router can dial PPPOE, den it should able to do it.If not, anyone can recommend a good cheap new one? Really fed up with the DIR615... have to re-boot often. -pWs- |

@ klseet
Try reboot the router. It will turn back to VLAN1. Not VLAN1.500 I got two DD-WRT router which is Linksys WRT160N and Asus RT-N12. Same issue which is for Linksys, I set to VLAN2.500. Reboot and turn back VLAN2. As suggested by bro rizvanrp, maybe u can try on manually set the command at the Startup command in DD-WRT. Not yet try for this. But FYI. If u replace w your router, you will sacrifice your IPTV. -pWs- |

QUOTE(DT8 @ Aug 24 2010, 01:58 PM) Ok I plan to subscribe Unifi VIP 5 now. Before I subscribe, do you guys think I should terminate my streamyx first or they'll just replace it? Apartment or house? And then, is it advisable for me to buy router/modem outside separately instead using TMnet's one? Apartment: They will install Unifi. But your streamyx cannot be use. House: You can use both all the time. Terminate o not? Your call. -pWs- |
