@cannavaro

fluctuating to around 100 KB/s for MU, but not constant either. This is a supposedly 20mbit line.

@djhenry91

they called twice to advertise and still screwed everything up. Maybe you're better off without their calls?

If you submit form directly to TMpoint, you should get a printout showing your Unifi ID details and installation date. If you didn't get it, most likely the form wasn't submitted properly. Call Unifi or go back to TMpoint to confirm.

First you need to set your PC to 192.168.88.2 and IE to 192.168.88.1 to login. Then you just need to set the Forwarding, VLAN and VLANs configuration. Once you get yours, I can just email you the config file and all will setup automatically. Just PM me later.

klseet,
Managed to replace the DIR615 with RT-N12?
I just bought the RT-N12 and flashed with dd-wrt. Works great with the DIR-615 as bridge mode.... but I want to remove the DIR-615 totally....  how to properly setup the vlan tagging on RT-N12?
*
Nope, still no luck to setup VALN tagging on Broadcom chipset ... sad.gif
You can still create the VLAN?.500 tagging without problem and do the WAN Port Assignment according, but the WAN Port Assignment will be gone when re-boot router, still don't know what's wrong with it ....

Anywhere, I just got the Mikrotik RB250GS, but still don't know how to setup ....
I think klgoh99 already setup this unit to replace the DIR-615, hope he could show the way ! smile.gif

AFAIK, 5% tax is only for charged voice calls.

BTW, not all fixed lines are TM lines... I called Citibank and got charged....it turns out Citibank is using Maxis fixed line service.

what about call to toll free (1-800) number of other operator? would we be charge or still free? using normal fix line, it's free to call all toll free number regardless of operator.

Anyway, good news guys smile.gif

klseet dropped by my house today and passed me two Mikrotik RB250GS's for testing.. and I have to say, I'm impressed with it tongue.gif

user posted image

I managed to get things up and running in about 15 minutes using that configuration however I'm still testing everything to ensure it gives the best performance. Based on what I'm seeing in my Wireshark dumps from my linux box, the VLAN tagging/stripping is working as it should so I'm pretty sure this can permanently replace the DIR-615 for about 55SGD tongue.gif

Some configuration settings work however it causes duplicate packets and doesn't correctly filter the ARP packet flood which is spewing out of the Unifi IPTV network so I'm testing every possible configuration through Wireshark before I write up a proper guide for this (give me <24 hours tongue.gif).

I'm posting here through my Windows PPPoE dialer. My PC is directly hooked up to the RB250GS at the moment. Excellent performance and stability so far smile.gif Gonna go dig up my IPTV STB from the hole I buried it in to see if it works.
