sry mayb this topic ppl post before, but i a bit confuse, due to the 3 cd need to buy, orgi and 2 expansion set.
is that i need to buy 3 of them ?? only host by US ? i heard some 1 say is buy for ori and dl for expansion ??



i heard about WOW taiwan no need buy is it ??

currently i'm wanna try wow, due to last time i'm still student, can't afford for this game.


please help for more info.

yes, you need the 3, original(most of us call is vanilla, its the same) and the other 2 expension(The Bruning Crusade and The Wrath of the Lich King Expension), there a 3rd expension(the Cataclysm) coming soon.
the main point is you buy the 3 for the CDKEY to upgrade your account,
you can choose to either buy the CD or download the game, the game cds helps you install the game faster.
and due to streamyx quality, so downloading will take alot of time.
the game it self need about 15~20G space now i think.

note: after install all from the cds, you still need to update the game by downloading the latest game patch.

tip: if you have a friend still playing wow, you can just copy and paste the whole folder to you pc, faster.

yes and no.
if you buy the american(mostly not stated on box), you play american server.
you buy europe(will be stated outside of the box), play europe. and taiwan->taiwan; korean->korean.
you can't not mix them( i heard you can but i don't know how)

note: there 3 diffrent type of US server, USA, oceanic, latin, but all host in US)

i think so, china ones are all download, cause piratcy are overpower the market.
maybe its the same thing in taiwan.

You need to buy the CD is because of the CD Key to open up your character LV.

You can still play together with ppl just that you will be hanging there at lv 60 or lv 70~.

When u topup to TBC u will get one month free play ! One month is about RM60 if i am not mistaken.

If you want to download will take sometime.

For 3 cd Keys is about USD 44+35 if not mistaken = RM260 For Lv 0 Character.


If you willing to pay More You can buy old Acc from website Than transfer to new Acc under your email for security purpose.

with lousy Gear about USD80 + USD77 + USD 25 to Choose Sever u like to play on + USD 30 if you wan to do faction Change (Horde/Alliance) (All this can be done in 2 hours)

Total RM680 (with LV 80)

You need to get:
The original World of Warcraft - You can level till 60
The Burning Crusade - till 70
Wrath of the Lich King - till 80

soon to come (expected at end of this end) Cataclysm - till 85

This game you need to pay for 2 things:

1. Subscription, it is about $14 USD/month or somewhere around there
2. Each expansion you buy including the original World Of Warcraft.
