Guys, I need some help...
I'm struggling between Milestone and Milestone XT720...
RM1300 (Msia set) and RM1550 (SG set)
I really fancy the keyboard on Milestone, do you guys think it's really worth it if I were to take Milestone just for the keyboard?
Hey, I was in the same boat some months ago. I'm a big qwerty fan having owned a Palm Treo, Centro and Nokia e75. I held off on owning an Android device because of the limited selection of qwerty models. When I decided I had had enough of my e75 at the time (god damned Symbian sucks), I took the plunge and got the Samsung Galaxy S. I knew it was a risk and even as I handed over my credit card, I was still half fixated on the Milestone and its keyboard.I'm struggling between Milestone and Milestone XT720...

A month down the line, I can safely say that yes, I still do miss the tactile feel of qwerty keys - poking a screen just doesn't feel the same. BUT, it's the overall package that's won me over. Awesome huge screen, blazing performance and a truly active modding community makes using a touch-based device really fun. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised that a touch only phone managed to convert a qwerty advocate like me. I guess what I'm trying to say is not to get fixated on a single feature because the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Good luck deciding!
Plus, you can't really judge a touch experience based on a slow phone with cumbersome UI and a resistive screen (:cough: nokia 5800, n97, n97 mini :cough:). Android is a whole new world!
