don't want laggy phone and able to play angry birds. the most important is the touchscreen must be smooth.

-able to read and edit microsoft word/powerpoint documents
- watch youtube videos

I'm thinking samsung galaxy ace, htc aria (ap) or sony ericson x10 (ap)
I have tried SE touchscreen phone x8 it is not as smooth as htc, samsung or iphone. i like the function of x10 but the touchscreen...and the SE android phone seems like not so good compare with the other brands

Which should i choose? Which one is worth to buy?

Brand wise, I was looking into the Xperia X8 and the LG Optimus One as those are within my budget for the moment. But if there are any other brands out there that has the functions that I need, as well as being within my budget, I am happy to consider them
2. Budget.

As of now, my budget is around RM 900 =\. This is cause, I really extremely need a phone badly after my stupid SE W580 died on me JUST AFTER ONE YEAR (and a few days - therefore warranty went byebye! ) And I'm still so broken-hearted that I don't want to fork out so much on my next phone xD

3. Specs. (Processor / RAM / OS Version / screen size)

Hmm, as for this, as long as the screen is not too small (as in x10 mini sort of small) and the phone has minimal lag issues or hanging issues.

4. What you need in the phone (Sense UI ? Touch Witz ? Battery life? Form factor?)

This is where the specifics come in xD

Basically, I really need a phone that has stable wi-fi capabilities as I tend to browse a lot. And I will need skype on my phone, as I need to keep in touch with my friends and family (I do not mind if it does not support the video call function, but it would be nice if i can call once in a while).

I've done a hefty load of research for the Xperia X8 and the LG Optimus One, and found that LG Optimus has better functionality but it seems that the lag issue is really bad, so I'd be more than happy if any LG Optimus One users can comment on this and tell me their honest opinion and experience with this phone.

Would anyone know if the LG Optimus One and the Xperia X8 support Skype?

Other than that, I'd like it if it can support some nice games to pass the time when waiting for classes to start or friends to come.

If there are any other phones that anyone can recommend that's within my budget and contains the functions I need, please please please suggest them!

Guys a question here. I practically know what phone I have in mind: If dual core drops price, im going for Atrix. If out of budget, most likely HTC DHD or Incredible S. BUT... question is this: I'm going overseas nxt year (UK) and SIS warranty is for a span of 2 years. Shud I get an AP set or still go with Ori since by the time I come home, it expires and the warranty is not usable there

need help here!! can't decide... sony xperia x8 or samsung galaxy 5.. my budget would be around the prices of these phones.. ori for g5 and ap for x8... pls give me some recommendation... my current phone is going boom soon!!! lol..
x8  +bigger screen, better resolution, better cam
      - using 2.1 (no apps2sd) can be solved by rooting.. but it's too technical for me..
g5  + can be upgraded to 2.2 officially, apps2sd, more updates on 2.2, and smoother performance??
      - smaller screen, weak camera
curently, g5 is around 620 ori and x8 ap is 580.. my budget is maximum 620 only..
