where you see it has that amount of ram? I am searching for high and low for it. imo, it should be alright as it's running on froyo and it has the same amount of ram with Milestone.
Yea, seems promising for OP1 but i still prefer samsung galaxy ace, their own UI is smooth and it has swype pre-installed. 5 MP + Bigger Screen + Prettier images is definitely a + point

Phone lag when playing angry bird? hurm... my milestone never even lag when playing Angry Bird. My girlfriend owns a Legend, spec wise seems to be better when the phone is on 2.1, it's so freaking lag while playing angry bird, now that it's on froyo it's so smooth.

Btw the spec of Ace and OP1 is more or less the same with milestone, how can it lag? hurm....

Not to mention the 800Mhz processor, LED flash, 16 million colours.  I'm seriously getting one too.  Are you getting the black with matte back or white with glossy back?  Buying from LYN seller or shop?  So far saw 2 sellers in Garage Sales only... RM960 and RM950...

Well most of my phones are not used for games. Haha, my only focus is synchronization which google does DAMN GOOD. Occasional for work purposes, to easily store some info, wireless tethering and so on. Game... once in a blue moon. haha

Basically my phone usage is just SMS, call sometimes, a lil' bit of gaming out of boredom, and also surf web/facebooking/tweeting via WiFi (no to 3G/etc.. need to pay xD)
sometimes checking/sync-ing emaill too if possible (via WiFi as well..)

I'm currently looking at both LG OP1 and Samsung Galaxy Ace, the Galaxy's design attracted me but it was rumored that it's around 256-386 of RAM only.. so which one should i go after? Or there is any other budget-tight Android phone? I'm currently using Nokia N79 with Symbian S60v3.. and I must say, I can't stand keypad+symbian phone anymore.. lol.

Get the CSL Spice, fits budget just fine. Don't care the brand, if your friends care, show them Gingerbread.

Sure. Gonna reach Malaysian shore by June  or so unless you don't mind buying AP or imported sets. I'll list down the pros and cons. I'll list down a few other phones too for reference.

SGS2
Pros: S-AMOLED+(If you don't know about it, go look it up. You'll be fascinated)
        Dual core 1ghz Exynous chip
        At 4.3 inch, 800x480 might not seem as detailed but the S-AMOLED oughta make up for it.
        8mp camera. Most new dual core phones seem to have 8mp.
        There will be more custom roms compared to other brands like LG/SE and those sort.
        Quite slim for a dual core phone
        Front camera
       
Cons: Exynos chip, according to benchmark is slower than Tegra 2. Not that much that is matters but there might be a difference if compared side to                                                 
        side
        Touchwiz. 'nuff said.
        Samsung's favoured way of once sold, i don't give a shiat about your software update.
        Supposed build quality is plasticky.
        Dual core native apps or even the dual core procs wouldn't be fully implemented for at least another year.

HTC Desire S
Pros: Software updates are actually present.
        For being a refreshed line, the build quality should be superior.
        One of the better single core procs.
        Favourable regular sized phone.
      Front camera

Cons: Yesteryear processor. Not catching up to trends.
        5mp camera
          SLCD screen.
         
Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

Pros: Sony Playstation certified phones.
        Physical PS esque controls.
        Individual developer market for games
        One of the better single core procs
        Beautiful

Cons: Build quality is average. Nothing fancy.
        Costs A LOT!

I plan to sell my HTC Wildfire to my friend and want a new android phone. I don't know what to buy.
There are some that catches my eyes :
1.Nexus S
2.HTC Desire S

I don't care what brand it is. But usually I use my phone to listen to music and watching videos. Great sound quality is a must. Many widgets like in HTCs is a plus. Can play games smoothly. Budget RM2000 and below. Maybe can top up a bit to RM2200 but the cheaper the better.

Hello, I'd like to ask for an advice here

Brand: Any brand would do for me.

Budget: <RM2000

Specs:
(1)Personally i love 3.7inch and 4inch max, 4.3 is just too big for my small hands(for a guy )
(2) no physical keyboard, prefer touchscreen

Usage:
(1) Must have:
- must be able to read PDF documents without ANY problem
- must be able to read and edit microsoft word/powerpoint documents without any problems.
- watch movies/any shows and also youtube videos without ANY problem.
- good(if not decent) call sound quality.
- practical widgets to make my life easier (as i read comments here, it seems that HTC sense is to everyone's liking)
- want to have the latest adobe flash to surf the internet (/k/  )
- future proof (i don't want to change phones regularly , able to keep up with updates for 2 years or something like that, custom rom also OK)
- good battery life from average to above average usage (i'll try not to be a heavy user)

(2) not neccesary but an okay bonus:
- camera: i rarely use the camera but it would nice to have it too
- (HD or normal) video recording: same as camera lol 
- games: casual games would be a nice, but i don't need the hardcore game which requires high specs and stuffs.

Currently what i had in mind is the HTC desire, BUT HTC desire s is coming soon so WTF i have no idea what to do now.

Get the htc desire now with the possible of immense butthurt when the new models arrive and the desire's PRICE DROP

Wait like a zombie for the htc desire s to release but its so darn far away mid MAY? and thats not in malaysia lol
